I know they are controversial cabins but my husband and I LOVE the Central Park balconies and book them anytime we are on a Oasis class ship. We love to sit on the balcony in the evening and listen to the musicians and see the people strolling through the park. It’s a nice way to end the evening.

Im going on Utopia in Jan, and we have a Central Park balcony. Both nervous and excited about it. I heard it's very loud on Utopia in the central park rooms during the day cause of the DJ, but not too bad at night

@@rctennis24 It can be loud during the day from the main pools but we spent our time in the Solarium so it didn’t affect us. The louder music moves into the Promenade and bars for the evening. They typically have acoustic music or jazz bands playing in Central Park in the evening. It was very lovely to sit on our balcony and see the trees lit up and hear the soft music before heading to bed.

@@sallyhazel8516 Because the balconies face each other people can potentially see into your cabin and you can see into theirs. Also there are some public areas that look into Central Park where other guests can see people on their balconies and some people prefer more privacy. Boardwalk balconies have the same issue for some guests. We had no issues though. We’ve booked the same Central Park cabin on two different Oasis class ships and had a great time.

Love this! We are loyal to Royal and just got off of a 4 night on Utopia last week. Same class of ship as Allure but brand new and absolutely INCREDIBLE. Don't let the party vibe reputation of it scare you away. That is not our scene at all, and we had zero issues with it!

you don't have to print out your baggage tags. Royal has blank tags at the port that they'll fill in and put on your bags for you. We did that last year out of Barcelona and it was easy peasy.

we LOVE the ice skating shows on the various Royal ships. The show on Oasis in particular is geared towards kids. Some of the ships have two different ice shows (don't know if Allure is one). In addition, there is usually free skating for guests during the day. Royal provides the ice skates. It's really fun. My grandkids went three different times last summer on the Oasis.

allure will undergo a major enhancement at the beginning of 2025 that will add lots of fun stuff like massive water slides, dry slides, etc. We'll be on Allure next summer in Europe after the enhancement and we can't wait. We used to be disney cruisers (10 cruises, including two in Europe), but we've since switched to Royal. So far we've cruised on Oasis (last year after her enhancement), Rhapsody (twice), Radiance (in Alaska) and Allure (our of Fort Lauderdale back in in 2015). We can now say definitively that we're "loyal to royal".

I love this ship. There is so much to see. The first time entering the ship, the pomade was simply AMAZING❤ They generally put your luggage next to your door. Some people have so much it takes a lot of room. Next time, try to get a Central Park balcony.

Glad I found your channel. Sailed the Allure 4 times. .each a 7 day cruise. Wonderful ship. Does need a refresh. I just got off the Utopia...my 24th cruise. Holy Cow. If you get a chance try the Utopia. So modern! I also recommend Norwegian but only on their biggest ships. The NCL Encore would also blow you away. Great vlog my friend.

Adrian, it’s unfair to compare Royal Caribbean to Disney. One must remember that Royal Caribbean is a fraction of the cost of a Disney ship. Of course Disney is going to be the superior brand but you’re also paying top dollar for those perks/level of service.

So when I went on my cruise in 2019 on liberty of the seas, we had our bags put right outside of our room when we got to our state room so for your cruise they were probably possibly still in the process of delivering bags to the state room and also on my cruise in 2019, we had to do a physical mustard drill outside

We fly Silver from Huntsville to Orlando frequently! My husband is not a fan of flying anyway, so is not really a fan of their tiny planes lol but I like having a direct flight from our closest airport versus having to drive to Nashville or Birmingham. Huntsville also started offering direct flights to Orlando with Breeze as well which we’ve had good luck with.

We tried to fly Silver from Ft. Lauderdale to Orlando after our cruise, but they moved the flight up so early we wouldn’t be able to make it off the ship in time. (They only offered that one flight that day.) We ended up taking Brightline, but I wish we could’ve flown.

There's a psychological side to it. I can confirm the feeling just isn't the same when you're unpacking a dupe, compared to an authentic, handcrafted piece. For me, its like a journey; opening the package, then the box, taking off the paper, layer by layer, smelling the leather... Ahh, you just CAN'T beat that! The only problem is your wallet is a lot thinner afterwardsEven though i've experienced both scenarios, i still end up buying a kislux .

I haven’t been on Royal. I’ve been on Regent, Celebrity and Disney! Out of those, I prefer Disney characters to casinos. Regent (Europe) was too fancy (strict dress code). Celebrity (Caribbean) was pretty okay. I’ve done two Disney cruises (Dream Bahamas, Wonder Alaska) and plan to go back. But this Royal cruise ship is GIANT and looks so fun to explore! Also “I just saw god there” or whatever you said made me laugh so hard!!!!!

And I'll definitely check out your plane channel. I didn't think I'd be interested, honestly, but I was looking up review videos on a new airline I'm flying with soon and the algorithm threw me into that end of the internet and it's fascinating. Still more interested in the travel blog aspect but seeing different planes and airports is cool too. There aren't many airline choices in Canada so I love seeing the different paint jobs (liveries? I think?) from other countries. I'm heavier than I should be and my husband has "long dancer's legs" as he puts it so travel tips would be good too.

I liked the ships of Royal but not the food. Most days back from port the buffet was closed and the only thing was that Pizza. Yeah i seen people decorate their doors on Royal and Carnival as well.
