I went when there wasn’t as many scare actors, but the anticipation was really good. They also chased us out of the building.

That problem with most haunts out there is the actors. This haunt looks great but the actors are shit. Laughing and smiling isn't scary, but it's what most haunt actors do, and pretty much all of them here did. I get it supposed to be 'look at me I'm crazy hahahha!', but that's not scary. Not at all. And when every actor does it, it gets old quick. There are so many haunts out there with potential but they are clueless as to how to train their actors.

Smiling, laughing, corny dialogue, most haunts are full of it, this one included.

Too much talking and not enough scares :( I've been binge watching home haunt/garage haunt vids for days and looking at ways to improve them or at least build upon their concepts. Normally I dont like alot of mainstream haunts but the two that stood out to me the most are the netherworld haunt & michael myers at universal studios 😁 to the Michael myers haunt is beautiful because the quick startle scares combined with the sound and bits of misdirection make it perfect to me, I've actually never been to Halloween horror nights but I'm gonna make it a priority this year and I'm probably gonna hit up that maze 4 or 5x haha. Anyways theres several garage haunts & home haunts that could beat this easy. You need to spend more money on better actors and less on animatronics 😋 the scare is in those first 1-2 seconds, once again I never knew how excellent it was to time your sound/effects with the scare......best example michael myers 🔪
