I completely agree about lines and queues. The very first time you experience an attraction, you should experience the queue as well and enjoy the detail they put into the design. After you've been on an attraction more than once, then it's ok to do the fast pass/skip the line option.

The 2 most exciting pieces of news from this Pod seem to be the early entry offering from OPENING DAY at Epic alongside the UK tickets allowing unlimited days at Epic beginning in 2026. Seems like Uni is expecting crazy demand for the first 6 months then back to (semi) normal after then. Both seem like great news to me! Thank you guys for all you do for us Uni fans - even if this is a closure of one chapter, were all extremely grateful for you two & this Pod/channel 👏👏👏

While Disney is charging $500 for a fast pass one time use for each ride, Universal is opening a brand new theme park and putting everybody essentially on the same level. No express, no single day tickets, I’d assume no VIP tours, all because they know how insane the crowds are already going to be and don’t want to do too much because they need $$$$ like Disney does. They put the guest experience above profits which I personally really appreciate. I can’t wait to go visit the park someday once it’s not brand new

Well, basically all rides are attractions but not all attractions are rides. Technically a ride has a route, either on a track or a path, like a roller coaster or a traditional dark ride. The term flat ride (basic attraction like a walk-through or carousel for example) has been used for years to differentiate it from a normal ride and show the contrast. But as this video shows, in the end it is indistinguishable by the public and people within the industry, so it is not important to mix terms because they are practically equivalent.

Aren’t they letting annual Passholders buy 1 day at epic? I thought them saying “Starting October 24, Passholders can purchase a 1-Day Universal Epic Universe Ticket add-on…” meant that Passholders could buy a ticket just for Epic Universe. I believe these ticket packages are for crowd control. It's a brand new park. There's going to be issues galore while they work everything out. The packages will eventually change. I'm not going on opening day. I'm gonna wait and watch KZbin reviews. Opening day you'll spend most of your time in supper long lines and much more. Just my opinion.

Wait, I'm confused. My annual pass expires in January. If I buy a one day ticket now for opening week, do I need to renew my annual pass? Are they saying I just have to have ID to show that its mine?

As long as your annual pass is active when you buy the ticket you do not need to renew your annual pass to use the ticket. (Just bring your expired AP and an ID to get in that day.)

No there doesn’t appear to be a limit, you just have to start a new transaction after each purchase of 6 days. I imagine the purchase date calendar will end at a certain date though, so you’ll be limited by however many months are available to book using this special offer.

Whoever is staying at Helios is easily going to get on the Harry Potter ride. It’s the closest land to Helios and since you can get in an hour early and it’s right there you’ll easily get on. Everyone else not at Helios will have to walk to the back of the park.

That concept art on the homepage looks amazing but significantly inaccurate. It's not showing the stupid amount of show buildings that are not going to be covered up and clearly visible from every room at the Grand Helios

Definitely more promotional art than concept art. Although most of Celestial Park is done quite realistically, (finally giving us Meteor Astropub in art,) anything with its back showing to camera has been reversed, like the portal and Mead Hall for Isle of Berk. And yes, most show buildings are missing, and a ton of dining and shopping. It’s pretty though.
