Phantasialand Vlog December 2018

Join us as we visit Phantasialand in Germany for the parks 2018 Wintertraum event! In this vlog we share a mix of on and off ride footage from some of our favourite rides at the park including Taron, Chiapas and many more! We also share highlights from The Magic Rose - Spirit Of Light, a fantastic production that features live actors, unique stunts and fireworks.
Along with all of that we check out the construction taking place for F.L.Y, the parks prototype Vekoma Launched Flying Coaster and much more. Phantasialand decorates the park beautifully for the festive season with thousands of lights and spectacular decorations throughout the park, in this vlog we take a look at this years wonderful displays.

Phantasialand looks amazing in Winter, I went last year and was great. As for ‘what’s expected to be removed next’, rumours suggest it will be Geister Riksha, along with a huge chunk of the China town area. Something like Symbolica would make for a great replacement if that was the case. I’m also getting the impression Rookburgh might feature a 2020 opening now, as the area is so complex and is also featuring a third hotel.

Most local fans believe it will either be Geister Rikscha (so Shawn won‘t have to learn the name now he has mastered Feng Ju Palace) or Hollywood Tour/TotNH. They have prepared a new entrance for River Quest, so that would speak for a major China redesign.

I don't think a huge chunk of China will be disappearing. The rumour for Geister Rikscha suggests the underground hall will be retained and reused so the actual China area will be mostly unaffected. Recent investment in new winter decorations custom made for the area, and the fact it is a major thoroughfare would support that.

Went on taron about a year ago and it’s still insane the first launch is fast as hell and just as you think it’s calming down you enter like fucking SuperDrive mode it’s incredible I would go back there all the way from the Uk just for that

I love this park,but then i remembered a nostalgic stop before it and honestly I spend sometime at this park.yep,this park is named Trampolino Familien -und Freizeitpark.or in short,Trampolino.yes guys,it’s isn’t the best park ever,it won’t blow your mind,but hey,it’s 35 miles from phantasialand so hey,it’s actually a nice theme park to spend time in before the real thing.altough it’s pretty crowded with kids,but hey,it’s mostly a kids place,honestly,I got Crealy amusement park vibes from it. So stuff to do there is some,SBF mini drop tower is here and many sunkid heege attractions in here,do gems are cool and there is pretty stuff to do,it’s not the best attractions,but they are pretty cool.and credits there are too,whooping total of 4 coasters which is pretty cool for a place like this: Butterfly-this is a Sunkid Heege Butterfly coaster,if some of you don’t know,it’s a kiddy shuttle coaster which is manually operated,honestly I kinda like those kiddy coasters,they feel neat but again,they are for kids.the coaster was build in 2015 and looks pretty cool with the blue color scheme. Ring Renner(or “Ring Race” in English)-this is the park oldest coaster(not the first) and it’s a coaster by SBF Visa.the layout of this coaster is a figure eight layout and was built in 2010.its honestly reminds me of shark trip in Crealy but instead themed to cars,and it’s quiet a neat coaster for kids,I honestly saw many kids on this coaster. Seifenkiste(or “Soapbox” in English)-this 2014 coaster is a Gerstlauer kiddyracer,it’s cool looking but it’s for kids(altough I think that adults got on it too) Trampolino-Coaster -this is the newest coaster at the park and it’s a cyclone coaster by SBF Visa,it is the best coaster here but it have its own problems tho.its the latest installation at the park,opening in 5.5.2018.yep,it’s the only thrilling coaster here but there are some bad moments,some parts were trimmed which ruined the ride for me but some other parts were so much fun and honestly,it wasn’t that bad,it was solid-pretty good at best. The food tho is not the best,it’s pretty junky here and welp,I didn’t enjoyed it that much,some areas were uncleaned too,although that’s might because that there were many kids and the park won’t clean after them,but the park had a childish charm,and honestly,I enjoyed it more than I thought I will tho,the staff is pretty friendly too actually.so guys,if you at the area,maybe give it a go,parks are more than just credits,they are about the experience,this park kinda feels to me that it needs more love,so you can go and experience it yourself,you can disagree with my opinions,but first try it,as for you Shawn,you can try it too one day,who knows,you can have a nice day here and have a cool stop here.

You guys should go to Walibi (fright nights) in the netherlands this year. It used to be a six flags, has coasters for days and for halloween they set up haunted houses and scare actors. It's popular every year.

Because of the actors in mystery castle I thought that that dark tunnel was also gonna be a scare zone, so first time I wanted to ride it, I walked right back out because of it lol. Also they could very easily make a horror attraction out of Hollywood tours.

What u think of their plan to add the new hotel close to the rollercoaster ? Now they will probably open in 2020.This park is never afraid to put in new stuff and the fact they do it on such a small scale is so great.The Parks in the USA have lots of space for huge rollercoasters but i think the designers have more of a challenge to design for the European parks cause u have to be more creative.

FBI my experience is that it is a lot more intense. I think its the most intense coaster i ever did. If you like launchcoasters you have to ride this one. You will like it a lot.

i think they dont remove the temple. maybe only the hollywood tour. Fantissima gets a new entrance this year so it is staying in the building. The temple is still populair with waiting times of 30/40 minutes. the biggest rumors are coming from geister rikscha.

Amazing, you are allowed to film in Feng yu palace. I was allowed to film on Black mamba, but that was a real no-no. But to me personally i perfer this madhouse about Villa volta and changed the movements a few years ago to make it seem more realistic. And it worked, in my eye's anyway. And the firebreaking icedragon is gone now in china town. Such a shame! I loved that. Phantasialand is a park where I rode my first roller coaster in 1992 and have seen everything change 100% in a totally different park. But if you go there all your life, it hurts to see nostalgic rides disappear. Gondelbahn, Silbermine, Race for atlantis, the wildwash log flumes, condor ... it will hurt if Holywood tour, Temple of the nighthawk (used to be Space center) and Geister Rikscha disappear. A new IMMAscore soundtrack has just been put into Temple of the nighthawk and their event restautant and re- opened 'Fantissima' is in the same building. I suspect that Geister rikscha will be next. A ride that I will not forget where I got nightmares from as a 5 year- old.

If only it wasn't such a small and complex site which means they can't use larger construction teams - also the park would need more money for that which they don't have given their a small family business with only 2 million visitors per year. Doubt Vekoma care or are bothered by waiting they still get paid.
