I think they should do this again, it looks like a great experience and because of it being set in The Towers themselves I think it adds a real scare factor due to all the "paranormal activity" that's in there. I would definitely try it if they done it again!

“Are you enjoying it so far?” No!😂 Funnily enough, lying in bed at 2am and watching this on the tv is as scary as being there😂. I like a bit of horror (and despite me enjoying it) I would not do this myself. Clearly Alton Towers know how to make you scared. It’s probably due to how you put your trust in the team to keep you safe, and in doing this helps you put your guard down. But when you realise that the team are at risk, it instantly heightens your senses and puts you on edge.

Its meant to be really haunted and Most Haunted have investigated there and the producer was pushed down the stairs. Went a few years ago and my dad said he saw a ghost walking near to the towers. He said he saw a dark figure walking along a path beside the towers and when he looked back, it had vanished. Also visited the chained oak and it's extremely interesting. I love the ride Hex because it is themed around the curse. Apparently stones have been thrown at people whilst queuing for the ride. A friend of mine actually heard what sounded like a stone being thrown behind him, whilst on the ride. It's a scary place. Its great having a theme park in the grounds of somewhere like that. Don't think there are many with real historical haunted castles within the grounds. It's amazing how well they use it for Halloween. A real castle is always going to be more exiting and scary than a fake one. Alton Towers is in possibly the best location for a theme park.

Watching this in 2021 and i'm thinking was 8:32 a reference to the Wicker Man? Because the drawings looked like people but reminded me of the wicker man style writing that they have dotted around? As you said it was pointless then but with yous throwing them in the fire, looking back now it seems like a reference/ easter egg to feed the flames???

It's one of the most haunted buildings in Britain. I was exploring the ruins with a friend in May 2016 and for one moment I saw this orb fly right passed my face and disappear. One of the craziest things I've ever seen in my life!

Sorry to be an intelligent person, but the nice lady said that Pugin designed the Chapel in the 18th Century, but actually it was during the 1800s which would mean the 19th century. I'm really sorry to be factually accurate, it's probably not as good as confidently talking rubbish by a paid actor for a one-off gig. Sorry.
