Come and join us for our first ever visit to LEGOLAND Korea! In this vlog we check out everything that this LEGO theme park has to offer, including on ride POV's from some of the biggest attractions at the park. We ride the amazing LEGO Factory Adventure Ride along with Ninjago, The Dragon and much more. Along with that I get absolutely soaked on the Splash Battle and we explore everything that Miniland has to offer at LEGOLAND Korea!

Legoland Korea was built right on top of an Archaeological site. The protests are about the park destroying several ancient artifacts in its construction. Korea has this culture of preservation of anything old and will fight to protect anything they believe is ancient or belongs to them.

My understanding is that the local government was incapable of funding the preservation of this site (which was discovered during the LEGOLAND building process in 2014) so they made a deal where legoland was allowed to build the park if they funded a museum for the archaeological site, which they have yet to follow through on. The artifacts are being protected but with no public access or cultural respect. It’s not great that the park has done this, but to me the big issue is the local and regional governments that basically sold this site to the highest bidder and didn’t hold the park to its obligations.

You sent me down a rabbit hole of looking into the archeological site it was built on . I think it shows the importance of getting everyone including the locals buy in , in where you build a theme park as it can impact its success. Love the Lego land brand and am quite surprised Merlin built it there.

Sean has such an unbelievable database in his head, it's just beyond believe. There he stands in Korea and he just refers to a coaster in Toverland in The Netherlands. He just knows them all by heart.

Just looking at the main entrance, I've a feeling that LEGOLAND Korea is a truly spectacular park! 🤩👏👏👏 The LEGO Factory Adventure Ride looks rather impressive, especially its ride queue. I love it how you can get a picture of yourselves in mini-figure form. It makes me wish that this ride could make it's down to either the Windsor, California or Florida parks. I agree with you, it took you and Charlotte a long time to get to the park, but it was worth it. The Brick Party Carousel looks stunning with the LEGO bricks decorated on it. I agree with you, the views of the park and surrounding area are absolutely incredible from the observation tower. Yeah, it’s surprising that LEGOLAND Korea didn’t built Dragon's Apprentice at all, it would’ve been a great thrilling addition and help boost attendance. It’s always nice to meet fans of your channel in the parks. LEGO Ninjago World is a stunning area to experience, especially with the beautiful garden and the plants as well. 🌸🌹🪴 It’s no secret that Ninjago the Ride is Charlotte's favorite ride, despite not having a blaster gun. Depending how it gets hot in South Korea during the summer, I think that the park could benefit from the addition of a log flume ride. “Revenge will be sweet!” - Uh-oh, I don’t think that Charlotte will like what water ride you'll make her get on. The LEGO City does feel that you’re actually visiting a town, with all the roads. Despite being a very long train, I think it was quite enjoyable, since you’re able to see the sights of the park. WOW! 😮 Let me just say, that LEGOLAND Korea's Miniland is quite fantastic, especially with the Seoul section and all the nice buildings. To sum things up, I can say that Merlin Entertainment did an amazing job with building LEGOLAND Korea. Also, I can’t wait to see the opening of the new coaster in LEGO Ninjago World in the near future. - Justin Chavez 😉

The German park did get a B&M wing, but the track does point to Mack. I also have a decent percentage of it being a clone of the coaster Windsor just got since it would fit the dueling aspect of the original game aspect to the theme-even if spinning and getting trains sent out would still fulfill that vs aspect too. Dragon's Hunt (DE) and Costasaurus (CA) are clones that opened back to back years-however that was by Lego before the sale to Merlin so times are different, but Merlin hasn't been doing too hot now so buying multiple coasters, especially if they are clones, could prove cost effective. Thorpe just got Hyperia, so it would also make sense

Since Ninjago is all about the martial art style called Spinjitzu (the original sets were spinner battle games simular to Bayblade), a spinning coaster makes a lot of sense.

California opened with a Suspended coaster called Spellbreaker and the ride that Dragon in Florida reused a smaller Vekoma layout that they just extended-so that's why those parks didn't get one. However, I think a Duplo Dino Coaster called Dragon's Apprentice could be a good fit for the Spellbreaker/Knight's Challenge spot-which is a picnic area where you can't actually picnic or something

I always enjoy seeing all the different Lego Lands and the models that they have. It would be great if you could do all of them. I would really like to see Merlin have a Lego Land in the North of England as the one at Windsor is a long way to go and it gets so busy, there was a rumer that they were going to build one at Scarbrough a long time ago but that never happened. If Lightwater Valley went bancrupt that would make a good site for a Lego Land. I think Lightwater Valley is in trouble they have been selling tickets at very low prices they had a blue light day for £9.99 each and a Fathers day for £11 each, they are always doing offers. Lightwater have two new rides this year a Safari Jeep Ride and the Rocket Coaster which is now operating. I hope you will be visiting Lightwater Valley this year they have changed things round quite a bit. The Lost River Ride at Flamingo Land is progressing well it could even be open this year.

Windsor feels fairly landlocked, but Florida could put the Lego Factory Adventure where Island in the Sky was and replace the existing Factory Tour with a restaurant or something

Never been to a Legoland park, even though, like Shawn I played with it when I was younger. Not sure how the Korean culture is with regards to building stuff over archaeological sites but obviously the go ahead was given to build the park. Reading about it though it appears that they aren't doing well financially since it opened hence the visitor levels. They do need some more rides though by the look of it.
