In my younger years I was not afraid of heights, but I fell out of a tree and since then I begin to shake when I'm high up! Luckily the highest rollercoaster in the Netherlands is only 46 meters, haha!

I too am scared of heights and I’ve been on x scream and big shot. Xscream have never been so scared in my life. I held so tight and heart rate went through the roof. Jumped on big shot and no problem my fear was cured for the time I was up there. Amazing experience!

Great video. I first visited Vegas when I was 18 and did all the rides on the stratosphere. They are still the most terrifying rides I have ever been on. I visited with my daughter in 2019 and stayed at the Luxor and also went to California. Amazing holiday. Vegas is a great place

Amazing vlog again. Terrifying i went up there 4 years ago and bottled it stood watching it too long and thought nope!! We had to buy our tickets for the rides at the bottom which is very clever if you think about it. I thought you might of jumped back down on sky jump ha. I've done all 3 of the rides as well as the coaster that used to be there. The coaster was very, very tame being in a really small space on top of a tower. Basically a kiddie coaster that ran around the edge, but the track did tilt outwards so that made it a tiny bit more exciting. As for the scariest, I'm with Charlotte. Insanity was a bit nerve-wracking, but Xscream is one of the only rides I've ever been on that legit messed with my head with the nose of the vehicle gliding past the edge of the track. My mom was afraid of heights, but loved rides. I honestly didn't think she'd do any of them, but she went on both Big Shot & Insanity. She drew the line at Xscream, though. I couldn't get her on that one, LOL.

The rides are fun but never found them particularly scary. Well done to Charlotte for going on them all. Enjoy the rest of your adventure! Think it’s more psychological for ppl who are scared / don’t like heights the scare factor for the rides. Disappointed you didn’t do the sky jump, yeah it’s expensive but requires a lot more will power to do compared to any of the other rides up the strat. Its worth it for the experience. Zip lines just don’t compare to it coming from someone that’s done the strat rides, sky jump and zip lines in vegas and zip world uk, zip lines in Vancouver between two mountains and whistler. Enjoy the rest of your trip! Look forward to more content especially six flags magic mountain that and cedar point and 2 still to tick off on my list

I've had a few trips to Vegas over the years, such an amazing city! My then girlfriend and I went up the Stratosphere Tower and had dinner at the Top of the World restaurant which was a great experience, I remember the roller coaster which was there the first time we visited but we never rode it, or any of the other rides since, not brave enough! LOL, Glad you're both having a great time!

High Roller was terrible. It banked in and had big OTS restraints so you couldn't see ANYTHING when you were on it. Big Shot is my favorite with that insane airtime and of course the views. I once sat on the Big Shot for 2 hours straight on a slow day. Insanity is a bit boring for me but X Scream took me a few years to get the courage up to sit in the front. That bungee thing is a waste of money you guys didn't miss much on that. It's really slow and you reach the top speed almost immediately so the only really exciting part is stepping off the tower. If it was a proper bungee jump then it might be worth it. This is my favorite place for rides on the entire strip because of the elevation. The only rides that really get my heart rate up anymore lol.

4:12 January is the time to travel, even during normal times. That is another reason why it is quiet, other than the pandemic. People spend too much money on Christmas gifts, they can't afford vacations for a few months or no PTO from work available and school already started up again. Your are very lucky to travel on a regular basis.

Man, I am very surprised that Charlotte rode those rides knowing that she's not a huge fan of flat rides and these being so high up!!! I'd say in my opinion the least scariest ride would have been the drop tower. I wish that High Roller was still there. I think I can see my friends house from up there!!! Lol I'm pretty sure I could see Henderson, NV from up there in this video and that is where my friend lives. She just moved out there in September

I’ve been looking forward to this one. This is the hotel I stayed at in 2004. I rode the High Roller coaster at the top and loved every minute of it. The views are incredible also and my room was on the 34th or 44th floor if I recall correctly. What a tower with all those rides. Shame to hear High Roller has now gone!

the cycle on XScream used to be way more terrifying. on one of the declines they would hang you off the side for an extended period of time before bringing you back up. and on another they would bring you down halfway and then drop you down even further almost like a drop track. this new cycle just brings you back and forth. still an insane ride regardless. that view looking down in the front row is no joke
