because as humans we are essentially a type of primate, and primates like to groom each other to affirm bonds of friendship and trust with others...but as humans this is frowned upon unless its a parent/child situation. so the next best thing is us watching videos of content of people being groomed in some fashion.

She just needs to remove the dead skin, cut nails, definitely put some meds and wrap so the individual can heal and feel normal again. Breaks my heart I feel like this person is in pain!!! It’s actually starting to look so much better too! God bless them both! I would help someone with feet 🦶 in this condition!!!

This is going to sound crazy, but I used your videos to help care for my mom’s feet after she died. We had a home funeral and cared for her body before the mortuary came to pick her up. If I didn’t know any better I would say these feet are my mama’s. Her toenails were pretty bad. My sister is a tech and brought the necessary supplies to give my mom a proper pedi/mani. We wanted her to look her best and spend the last hours with her. I thank you for all your videos and tips.

She uses callus remover to soften the skin, you can buy it at Sally's (green label) but be sure to rinse it thoroughly and don't leave it on too long. It is caustic and will burn the skin if it goes through the callus. Only put it only the callus part. (Advice from a licensed nail tech/esthetician). :) Notice how she moves around not staying over and over in the same place. She gives the bad places a "break" this is more comfortable too. Taking just a little off at a time or as we used to say--don't dig to china in a hurry. LOL

@@earlspearl6491 You're welcome but be careful with that callus remover. Don't leave it on too long and only on callus plus be sure to protect your hands with two pairs of gloves. Whether the manicurist use gloves on her clients or not has absolutely nothing to do with treating a client like a human being. It has to do with sanitation for the manicurist as well as the client. Also, there are products that are used to remove calluses that will irritate the service person's skin because we use it on all of our clients daily. It doesn't irritate the clients skin because it doesn't stay on them for a long period of time. In Tennessee where I work doing this same service it's required that we wear gloves. Lastly, its a matter of choice for some and doesn't take anything away from there skills or professionalism if they decide not to wear them.

@romel420
@romel420 2 жыл бұрын
@@ericarmendariz1177 Some types are, but as long as she washes her hands she will be fine. Toe fungi thrive in a wet, humid, warm environment such as public pools, gyms, showers, etc., and of course, your sweaty feet inside your shoes. Which is why you want to wear sandals if there is a lot of barefoot traffic in a moist public environment. But getting it on your hands and washing and drying it right away easily kills the fungus. And your hands are usually a dry and cool environment, unlike your feet, so they don't get the chance to thrive and they die fairly quickly.

Well if the person is diabetic, they might have some peripheral neuropathy (aka limb nerve damage/loss of sensation in the hands and feet). They legit can't feel anything and it's something docs have to check for regularly in diabetes to make sure they don't severely injure their feet and recommend people with diabetes regularly check and care for their feet (plus people with diabetes heal from wounds slower so serious foot damage may take a long time to heal) And it can get much worse than even this video. People with diabetes can end up with foot amputations if they don't take good care of their feet. Obviously no one wants that, but it's hard to take care of your feet when have them in socks and shoes most of the time and you can barely even feel anything wrong with them like other people would. Regularly scheduled foot care is pretty much their best way to keep their feet healthy and good looking. For anyone curious to learn more, I recommend looking up "diabetic foot" Sorry for the this psa, but hope someone found this information useful/interesting.

I did the same thing with dandruff scratchin to pimple popping to pediatric to pedicures. There’s definitely something satisfying about it. I can do this all afternoon

Your videos got me through a year in ICU and 6mos of rehabilitation. Thank you so much for being what I needed to help me get to a better place. I would be so happy to have you do my pedicure. Your an angel.

It's wonderful how kind you are to your clients. Working slowly and describing what you are doing for them. Based on their condition, some of these feet have not had care in a long time. There is a lot of shame for some people which can make it pretty bad when they finally get to you. :) Thank you!

I wish all pedicures were like this. So relaxing &calm. Your the only channel to watch for pedicures. I wish you or I was in the same state but we aren’t 😫😫 so I’ll just have to watch you from Texas.❤️

You did an amazing job I'm sure it made her feel so good! Ignore the small minded or judgmental "holier than thou" comments 🙄 YOU ARE AWESOME!! & seriously who cares about the looping. Folks always looking for something negative to say these days sheesh, CHOOSE HAPPINESS PEOPLE!!!
