My wife found the midnight just after they released Endless Summer, and she almost didn’t show them to me because she wasn’t sure if I’d like them. All I can say is thank god she did! They’re definitely my favorite current band. They have a special way of evoking pathos like nobody else. You may feel happy, you may feel sad. You may feel longing, listless, hope, despair, a million things, but damn it, you’ll feel SOMETHING!

The Midnight is one of my favourite band. Los angeles song introduced me this guys. And then..i found Sunset. That song is really dope. Their music are absolutely fantastic and really 80s vibes. Last train song is totally chill & aesthetic vibes.i listend that song when i m in home alone and open the neon light while i m smoking. Every songs of this band are master piece for me. and here again.... another master piece song. I wish i could meet this band one day.

There's just something about the rolling credits at the end that gets me. I guess it reminds me of old 80s movies with the feel good song playing in the background as you're just sitting there, empty, with tears rolling down your face. Realising that you're parting ways with these characters that you've so heavily invested in, even if for just a short period of time. 😢

The Midnight is nothing less than pure magic. Fresh and modern, but somehow encompassing seemingly everything that was wonderful about my younger years. This sounds like the peak of 80s pop music that just came out 40 years later than the decade it was from. How do they sound like everything I loved about 80s pop yet somehow are nothing like any other specific band or group I know from the times? Pure. Magic.

The music is amazing, and the chorus is absolutely love addiction. Something less talked about, how great the actors did in this MV. Julia is dancing pretty much perfectly to the vibe I'm feeling, and Daniel doing a charming job lookin good and chilling. Looks like top noch production, the written and story of the video is just fucking perfect. It might seem pretty simple. Typical bar sing along, everyone starts dancing towards the end. BUT holy shit they nail it so hard.
