I have to say, I would have ended more to the ending. As punishment for his hubris, Seto’s soul is erased from existence as it is sent to the void, with his soulless husk left behind to serve as a warning to those who dared go down the path of the edge lord. The king, who proved his worth to his family and easily put down the rebellion, which started by his attempted murder of Yamio, by killing the newspaper boy, happily returned to his seat of power with his new pet/best friend bear cub. His wife, however, divorced him and goes off to find a better life as an adventurer, where she runs into a crew of Demi chefs on a quest to make a godly meal in a country of drows. That, however, is another story. Ps, that is a reference to an old comment I made to Yugo’s chef video where the chefs and their old party members come back as divine warriors on a quest from a holy Italian chef god. And as for Yamio, he and the old man were teleported back to the portal room, where they find the dead bronze bird and a now dead Gary, who failed his saving throws. Confronted with the loss of his son, the old man has a heart attack and dies of grief. All alone, Yamio cries in sorrow over his fallen friend, until the sword (you know, the talking one that Yamio summoned by pulling the card, which ended up disappearing from the story) returns with the guinea pig. The sword tells him that he can bring back Seto, only if he goes on a dangerous quest by entering a deadly deck of the many things tournament. Renewed with vigor, Yamio journeys on with the giant floating sword and magical guinea pig. And that is where we will end it off.

But what happened next? Where do the old man and Yameoh go? Does Seto remain dead? Will Yameoh and Seto reunite and embrace each other for finally they know each others feelings and realise that while they were rivals, the time they spent together was so precious that they want to spent the rest of their lives together? I NEED TO KNOW!

I remember watching this whole session and crying when I couldnt find it on twitch anymore. No amount of beautiful art can capture just how insane this session was. Like there were so many little things like [forgot her name] litterally asking about "the gos" at every opportunity as that was her character's only purpose and her awkwardly being silent when she couldnt. And the absolute god teir banter that would randomly occur btwn yugi and seto. This was the session that made me start playing bards. And I only make my bards duelists now

one shots will always be more silly and adventurous imo cause the entire story has to be jammed packed and exciting. Campaigns are nice for long stories and character development, but I'd want to have an intro for the characters/series before the first episode. I'll watch either way
