I have 1 year experience of selling software and was thinking of helping my dad’s home renovation business (tiling, flooring, painting, masonry). In order to sell these services do I need to have experience myself working in the construction business? Because I don’t understand the equipment or technical aspect. Also is door to door sales a good approach in construction to find clients?

Trying to make an honest living is hard in this time of age. Now a days you have handyman charging cheaper that cheap price for the work that you do for a fair price. Most handymen are crackheads and will do the job that’s 1k for a $100.
