which item do you guys think is my best thrift find?? I can’t decide myself Lol 😌 also 2 things, 1) apologies for the audio quality inconsistency, I’m going to get a new mic 🎙 2) the try-on clips are just to show fit and aren’t fully styled!! love you guys ♥

That silver vest is such a good throwback. I don't know if I'd use fabric paint though, I think it would be hard to match the silver and it could end up patchy. Totally adore the Juicy bag and the Vera. I keep trying to tell people that Vera Bradley is due a comeback, and I feel like the older prints are so much more interesting than the new ones. You've got such a great eye, love seeing your hauls!

I loved the AEO hooded shirt, I used to get them second hand or in stores that sell US products (I am in México 🇲🇽) around 2010's I Loved them And had several because they have long sleeves and I am tall (1.73 mts.), so they actually fit My arms 😁 The Vera Bradley bag is lovely 🍀I love that brand because everything is quilted And floral ☺️💐 And I LOVE the Juicy Couture bag 🎀👛 My dear! I remember that I wanted one so badly, I saved money And try to get one in one of those stores I mentoined that get You US stuff And when I had the money there we're no one available 😮💨 but I spent the money in that store 😁 in an Aéropostale Tote bag And some AEO clothes And flip flops, so I still spent the money wisely 😁I hope You style the clothes in a mid 2000's vídeo son! Saludos señorita Sofie ☺️🎀⭐🍀

I can totally relate to the long arms! It’s hard to find tops that have that ultra long sleeve when you’re tall (the kind that goes over the hands a bit). Thank you for your lovely comment!!

I think it's beter when holes don't look intentional, but rather, like actual wear and tear
@arlynpage74912 жыл бұрын
Long time Salvation Army shopper in NY, USA; they have forever stapled the tags to the items and I cannot tell you HOW MANY TIMES the staples leave damn holes on PRISTINE items because they break the fibers. They are meant to staple them to the labels but rarely do so because I KNOW they’re pressured to get out scores of new items every day❗️It’s pretty frustrating 🤬. P.S. GOODWILL here uses the nylon strings but THOSE TOO can cause holes if they hit th fiber of the cloth wrong.
@themilkclub2 жыл бұрын
oh no! yes they really should staple or use the tagging gun on the labels only - or it should be done through an inconspicuous side seam

They staple the tag to the clothes in America? 😭 How do you remove the tag without damaging the clothing? I volunteered in a charity shop and we had proper tag guns to attach the tags...
@themilkclub2 жыл бұрын
I use a staple remover and so far no damage that I’ve noticed 🧐 a regular tagging gun would be better though. perhaps it’s a cheaper and faster way to apply the tags for them
@LilChikyChan2 жыл бұрын
@@themilkclub It might be cheaper, but I just cringe at the thought of a staple puncturing the fabric 😆 Maybe they've had issues with people removing the tags so they've resorted to stapling them on 😞
@arlynpage74912 жыл бұрын
SALVATION ARMY staples tags to items whilst GOODWILL uses the nylon threads- BOTH CAN CAUSE HOLES if they break the fibre of the fabric. A staple remover works to remove them but makes no difference if the item already has a hole due to the 🤬 staple 🤬❗️ I check the area where stapled prior to buying and if hole Don’t get it or tell the cashier and they will generally discount the item. It’s nearly impossible to fix the hole no matter how good a seamstress one is without it showing so if miniscule leave it alone and will tighten up after washing/drying.
