Hey guys! As you know my previous video was delayed by a few of weeks, so this one got pushed back in the schedule by a ton. I totally realise that the footage from this vlog has become a VERY dated (it’s from December 2018, lol) but better late than never, right? 😄 Thank you for your patience 🙏 Enjoy! ♡ p.s. This is my first ever video that I wrote closed captions for! Tried it for this video as sometimes it's hard to understand what I'm saying. I'd like to find time to write them more often in the future to make my videos more accessible. xx

This made me want to go back to Disney so bad 😭 I was in Paris in February and loved it, I can't stop thinking about the food lol. I actually think it's better to go to theme parks when it's colder, when it's sunny and warm you just get burnt and dehydrated waiting in the queues. I hope I get to visit Disneyland in America one day!

I agree about the cooler weather! The great thing about California is that it's pretty mild during the day, even in winter, but never unbearably hot. I've been to Disneyland CA during what was technically Autumn (late October) and it was hot and humid. I don't think I could stand it in the middle of summer! Plus those summer crowds, dang. I'd love to go back to Disneyland Paris someday, everything looks so beautiful and cute and pastel 😍

yeah it would be so fun carrying around a big plastic cup in your backpack and on rides for hours on end 🙄 better just recycle the cup and bring a reuse straw..

​@@logantaylor208 Recycling isn't a solution to the plastic problem. Much plastic isn't recyclable or ends up in landfill, the oceans or is incinerated, releasing toxins into the environment. Plastic also can't be recycled indefinitely (like glass or metal) so is eventually discarded, taking hundreds of years to degrade. Not to mention it's usually manufactured from crude oil obtained by fracking. The best thing we can do is try to avoid plastic as much as possible -- it's not hard to carry a reusable cup (they're virtually weightless, and you can even get collapsible ones for travelling) in a tote or backpack or keep one in the car. A small price to pay for the potential damage. If you're interested in veganism/animal welfare, it's pretty inconsistent to try to justify most single-use plastics. Plus Starbucks etc. offer discounts for bringing your own cup, so it's not like it's not catered for. Otherwise, you'd be surprised how many places will accommodate you bringing your own reusable items if you ask. 👍

@@sarahsometimes I disagree if you're going to an amusement park. It is not easy to carry a grande or venti cup you all day. they are bulky, can be heavy (even the folding ones ive seen them) and you also need room to bring your own water, sunscreen, etc and then carry it on rides in tiny spaces. but i do agree its good to keep them in your car and bring to starbucks on other days, but disney im sure have good recycling systems in place. a reusable straw is a good way to contribute without it being a pain in the ass. FYI not all plastic is bad. plastic saves lives, it also reduces spread of disease and things like plastic straws are vital for those with disabilities. so yes, you can probably be a vegan/environmentalist whatever and still justify single use plastic. a lot of the plastic bans are extremely ableist and while she is able bodied and is not excused, these boycotts still negatively effects many people. plastic bans aren't the most important, we need better waste management and NEW type "plastic" that are plant based and compostable. FYI I do agree with your general point that we should avoid single use plastic, you're not wrong, but a lot of people also don't realise its a bigger and far more complex issue than just landfill and saving the turtles
