I still love Mini but I'm having a hard time with so many changes. I love my clubman, all the bibs and bobs I can fidget with, and my driver's window sun visor. They took all that away 🤔

Welcome and glad you liked it. I don’t post as often as I used to on KZbin. Largely because cars aren’t always easy to come by for videos. I’ve even been working on incorporating other brands but it seems the MINI content, thankfully, remains the most popular on the channel. I’m always getting more info on these cars so check back frequently. If I don’t post it as a regular video, it could be information in a Short, or a community post.

Maybe you should look at other brands! When it comes time for a new car I loved my Clubman. Without that option, not really enthused by anything else, at least yet with MINI. My son is now the General Sales Manager at his BMW/MINI dealership. Looks like I'll be going in that direction. I kind of like the M2.@@TheMINIac

The 4 door just doesn’t quite have the esthetics of the clubman. I would have sooner seen the clubman continue in the line up instead of the 4 door. Then the aceman would make more sense.

Understandable. I was very fond of the Clubman as well. One of my all time favorite MINI models.

The Clubman wasn’t selling enough to justify continuing production.

@@darrenmitchell5262 which was unfortunate. It was a great car. People just seem put off by anything resembling a wagon, at least in the US market.

@@darrenmitchell5262 totally get that. Just sad that hot hatches and hot estate cars are falling out of fashion. The 3 door and clubman are the closest to the mini ethos of fun, compact and efficient enthusiast cars. I understand chasing the suv market but hope MINI doesn’t lose its soul in the process. I wish the 3 door and Clubman stayed as the heart of the line up much like the Porsche 911. They can experiment all they want with the Aceman and the like.

Preach! 😀 I have a 2013 Mini Cooper Clubman, which is my all-time favorite car but it’s starting to show age and it has nearly 150,000 miles on it. So, I’m in the market for a new car. I know it’s not rational, but four-door Minis always look “off” to me. However, when I saw this video in my recommendations I immediately watched it since I want another Mini and I might change my mind about four-doors.

I totally 💚 your colour of your mini, what year is it? and what is your mileage on it may I ask? And what are your rims called? And I 💙 all your reviews on all the different colours and model’s of all the “Mini’s” Keep up the awesome and amazing job on doing this. I 💙 this colour WoW oh WoW, and 4 doors are they in Canada yet? Anything’s fully made or built in China, my Canadian Government has just put on a full 100% “Tariff” on everything that’s coming in from China. This’s very bad, and sad situation for people “Wanting” to buy any vehicles fully built in China.

These are built in Oxford England so they won’t be hit with the tariff for electric cars made in China.

Are the actual seating surfaces cloth or just the bolster trim and head rest?

Looks like a mix of cloth and vescin or just vescin (pronounced ves skin)

Are they not making them in manual transmission anymore?? That’s a big dealbreaker for me, I hate automatics 🤮

@marilynvega4428 ⁠no manuals at the moment. 7-speed dual clutch is technically speaking an automated manual and they’re made by Getrag, same company that makes the 6-speed manual. But no, unfortunately no true manuals.

Thanks for the video looks really nice wow. Does anyone know possible reasons why from time to time, an F60 pops out of 2nd gear (manual trans) ?

Not sure. The F60 Countryman that came with a manual used one from Aisin so it would be different than Getrag used in the hardtops.

@@TheMINIac thanks. I think I’ll check transmission mounts first. Didn’t know it wasn’t the getrag, if you go to fcp euro, it thinks it is

"Decent amount of leg space"?!?!? I have a Mini, albeit 2018. The back seat is a torture device for any average sized human. Otherwise great review.

The 4-door, you have to admit, has more leg space than the 2-door. Therefore, it does have a decent amount of leg space compared to the 2-door. 😁

Eww on that shifter. Color and materials i like for sure. Personally, not a fan of the 4 door cooper s unless its a countryman. Also, not a fan of the hvac being in the infotainment. We all know why. Either way, love the video.
