London Motorcycle Museum - Part 1 of 3

I've been back to the London Motorcycle Museum to look at some more of the fascinating exhibits historical motorcycle expert Geoff Selvidge. In this instalment we take a look at a variety of British machines from the early 1800's...stay tuned for parts two and three soon!

I use the following equipment to record and edit my VLOGs:-
GoPro HD Hero 2 and 4 cameras
Nikon D7100 DSLR for static and video shots with various lenses
Lavalier microphone and sellotape for in helmet audio - £9 from E-Bay
Power Director 8 for the PC (for video editing)
Lavalier microphone for in garage audio - £20 E-Bay

Yes sorry about that, I just kept recording and then had to try and divide up the hour or so of footage I got into three equalish chunks - as these aren't actually scripted or planned there's a bit of luck involved in this production!

Excellent videos with Geoff, the triumph ones and these are full of fascinating knowledge. Well done sir. Although it seems the audio channels are transposed from your screen position, ie you're standing left, your voice comes from the right speaker. And vice versa for the motorcycle oracle. Part 2 incoming :)

Yes sorry about the audio positioning - I bought these cheapo mics off of E-Bay especially for these films and didn't clock that they worked as a stereo pair and paid no attention to which of us had which - 50:50 chance and we lost out!!! Glad you enjoyed the video anyway...all the best - TMF

The bike I learned to ride on was an old Franny Barnet 250 . No helmet on , an unused rail line , no tracks of course . My god the authorities would have kittens these days ! lol . I remember the Sunbeam , not sure about this , but I think it was one of the first bikes to have a reverse gear . May be Gef could clarify that . I too thought Zenith was German . Looking forwards to the next one MF cheers .
