This is what is actually called over commitment and normal when players do not have info what opponent is doing and that point they played on opponents hand. It happens in any RTS. Sometimes rush fails because defender gets too much info about rush and prepares perfectly and sometime it succeeds because opponent didn't know or reaction was wrong. Nice mind game from mista

i thought this strategy up yesterday, and now i see it play infront of me :( I was thinking a build in which you go fast castle and then pack up all your buildings and ovoo and move to a stone near the enemies base, guess the mista beat me to it :

Ahh the build also mainly involved the kurul tai, just sacrifice not getting the step redoubt and keep the kurultai close to the proxy base and you have a buffed up raid force close to the enemy base.

Proxy, in this kind of context being short for proximity. It refers to a way of zoning your opponent. In this game the ovoo and the main production coming from TheMista was placed right in front of huts base, proxying him by both limiting his expansion options and making his own military come out faster.
