One thing I like about Mista is willing to USE every single unit in the game and recognize when to use them. Take the first two games for instance. In Game 1 he knew the strat for Atty is the Calvary-Arcus death-ball. So make a bunch of Prodromus and Peltast. Second game, know Eggy wants to transition into Migdol Units, so make siege to counter it. And while I’ve watched enough competitive RTS to know that there are multiple factors at play you have to consider (e.g. micro, economy), there is a core design to the units I don’t see Pros using.

I deeply apologise if you've already addressed this but I haven't found any info on it in my 10 minutes of looking around... have you done page 2 of Arena of the Gods yet? Yeah I haven't really been playing it. Unfortunately it really wasn't what I wanted it to be. I'm not sure what I wanted it to be though ^^ I might still try and play the end at some point.

@@BoitTV fair dinkum, seems to be the consensus for a lot of players that I’ve asked about it. Personally I’ve had some fun with it, but that’s been in playing co-op with my casual friend where we can talk and catch up while having something to play. I have hopes that page 3 and onwards can make things more widely appealing, but for now it just fills a niche in a somewhat smaller community (compared to a AAA or something). Let me give some feedback on Boit his analysis at the 20:00 minute mark about Poseidon and the need to be more aggressive in the early stage. I strongly disagree. Mista played outstanding in the first game. Gaia is simply too broken against Poseidon and there’s hardly any way to win for Poseidon. There’s a reason he has only got a 30% win rate against him. Early pressure will get destroyed by the Gaia counters. The only way to play it is as Poseidon is to do light pressure, grab second TC, go for heroic and play from there. Mista did it phenomenally, but Gaia too OP. I’m a main Poseidon with 90% of my matches being that god. Gaia is the God I’ve faced the most and against equal players it’s a guaranteed loss

One thing I never got is that Greek always seem to go full send heroic. Wouldnt it be better to go for mythic/Hephaestus against Gaia?

@ in my experience, please note that I’m main Poseidon and my most frequent opponent has been Gaia, is that you’ll be already dead if you try to go for mythic without pressure. Reason being, Gaia will outboom you. So you need to try to do something. Best thing to do is an army of hoplites + peltas

I thought full armory upgrades + plenty vault could turn the tide but it seems Gaias boom is too bonkers atm. Anyway I guess I learned sth new and thx for enlightening me on this topic.

Bro i swear mista is broken. At this point they're gonna be paying him to stay out of tournaments to make them more interesting. I thought this series would be tooth and nail after the first game but mista leveled like crazy after the loss.
