Steven Conrad excuseme sir but what is a selfie stick?
@glocdan9 жыл бұрын
mehmud A selfie stick is a portable, extendable rod that is used to attach a camera and take pictures of yourself. Many people think this is an invention for narcissistic people. I think so, too. This webpage has an example of how a selfie stick is used: www.getdatgadget.com/extendable-handheld-selfie-stick/ In some situations, I think this would be a WONDERFUL invention, but too many people use it in situations where it is inappropriate. Disney recently banned people from using selfie sticks; mostly for safety reasons.

@Visalakshi Mahadevan I was surprised seeing your comment stating that India has a civilization of 5-10 million years old. This knowing the scientific fact the first human ancestors (ape like beings) only came into existence some 5-7 million years ago. Also stating that there is a Hindu God idol of over 25000 years old is probably not correct since the proven roots and customs date back to somewhat more than 4000 years. Please get your facts straight before you post them as so.

I'm exactly the same way but when I try and stand on a chair lol can't even do two feet of the floor without my legs shaking and feeling like im gonna collapse. Except I love flying in an air plane and I can't seem to figure out why I don't mind flying lol
@captainobvious92339 жыл бұрын
Amanda Murphy Probably because their is a barrier (The plane) around you. Are you able to look out a closed window at the top floor of a tall building?
@owtena9 жыл бұрын
+Amanda Murphy I also am afraid to stand on a chair, but no problems with any ladder or with high floors or with flying, I think it's because on a chair I know that I can't grab the chair if I'll need it and I understand that I can fall and in this case I'm more afraid to fall, not the heights, but on a ladder I can grab the ladder anytime I need, the same with top floors and railings. P.S.sorry for my English :/

Does everyone that hikes HuaShan have to do these dangerous trails or do they also have normal safe trails for sane people?
@gregoryreese84918 жыл бұрын
+Jeremy S. I've read that the insanely scary path you see featured here and many other places is the old route (now used mainly for taking hair raising photos to send the folks back home) and that there's a newer much safer route that people are not SUPPOSED to stray from. Mind you, I've only read this (though from several sources) and I've never met anyone claiming to have made the hike.

That part of trail is only a small portion. It is not that dangerous. There are normal trails and you can even take cable cars to the top.
