I lived on Okinawa...a $10 hop flight at the same EXACT time. My father US Air Force refused to take me to this exact concert. I haven't forgiven him since! But I watched it LIVE broadcast throughout Japan at the time with my best friend (half Japanese) Charlie at his house! Charlie if you are out there reach out to me...we both watched your father pass... miss you man!
