i never understood Lightning Dust hate. Lets start with the other cadets. She wants to be better then them so the WonderBolts recruit her. While Rainbow Dash has no competition in Ponyville, we don't know where Dust comes from. She could be use to having to prove herself on a daily basis, or she could come from the middle of nowhere as some random abandoned orphan. We don't know, so we have to take that into consideration when judging why she is so insistent on showing off. Especially since the WonderBolts are supposed to be the best of the best, so if they can't hang, the should just get out of her way. To her, this is a competition to show the judges that she has the skills to be one of them. Next, the Elements. This one pisses me off. If you are stupid enough to wander into a restricted and dangerous environment, then it is your fault. You don't blame Nascar if some dumbass runs onto the track, you don't blame soldiers if you sneak onto a bomb range. So WHY, is Dust blamed when she was performing in a designated area for dangerous stunts in a restricted academy for Pegasus only, when 5 ponies show up unannounced. Lightning Dust was a jerk, but she wasn't evil. She was just a pro flyer, who didn't try to hurt anyone, while trying to show how great she is, so she can achieve her dream of being a WonderBolt. But i guess if you are not an Alicorn or and Element of Harmony you MUST be a villain. *rolls eyes*

The thing about Bringing back the Shadowbolts is that perhaps Lightning Dust could be one of them. I don't view her as evil. But what if they came and offered to let her join the team? She wouldn't have a sense of loyalty getting in her way. And getting to join a group that claims to be better that the Wonderbolts. Even if joining would be out of spite for getting kicked out of a chance to be in the Wonderbolts. It would make sense that Rainbow Dash's parallel join the Wonderbolts' parallel.

I'll admit, you made a lot of good points on why most of these guys should come back. I for one never really cared for the Dog and Pony Show episode, cause I thought the Diamond Dogs themselves were just nothing more than like Gollum's Pound Puppies or something, and also of what you said about them being thoroughly antagonized in a show about friendship making. You'd think that after letting Rarity go, they would've at least made a truce with her and Mane Six and promise to never kidnap anymore ponies again, that alone was the kind of ending I was expecting in it. And yeah, I honestly wish the Dazzlings could come back once again, maybe even have Sonata wanna change her ways with one of the Humane Six, and for Adagio and Aria to maybe make a truce with them (also). There are so many ways that could happen for them story-wise, but we at least have a ton of fanfic that could cover that.

Diamond Dogs: There is actually an arc in the comics that features a Diamond Dog kingdom (more like a city-state, though) Shadow Bolts: I'm pretty sure those were just high-level illusions, not actual lifeforms. Sombra: He has like... 3 story arcs in the comics... including a redemption.

I was expecting Chrysalis to be in here somewhere. She's an interesting, favorited-by-many villain who, last we saw her, was just betrayed by pretty much her whole kingdom (and, likely, family), and swore vengeance before fleeing. This, I think, is a perfect opportunity to bring back a loved villain, and maybe even a smaller hive of rebel changelings.

I have the MLP comic where it explains how Nightmare moon used to rule a whole other kingdom back on the moon, it was EXTREMELY good. It would be amazing if they did an episode on it. Actually, Fluttershy may have actually started to begin to understand her own fruit vampire bat powers, and learned how to make her fangs disappear, so no one would catch on. It makes sense too, vampires have that power, to retract their own fangs just to pass as a human.

For the shadow bolts nightmare moon didn't create life she spit her smoke into three parts and became them. The creators of mlp just decided to use that name in equestria games. Just like how they used "woldercolts" which is similar to "wonderbolts". Plus nightmare moon came from within Luna, so I don't think nightmare should come back unless Luna becomes sad again. And I don't think lightning dust is a villain.. she can be reformed just like discord or nightmare moon.

Also, I don't see Iron Will as a villain but rather a neutral character, Still, I'd like to see him become somewhat of an equivalent to Hercule Satan from Dragon Ball Z. Also, If the 5 major Shadowbolts from Friendship Games (Sunny Flare, Indigo Zap, Lemon Zest, Sour Sweet, & Sugarcoat) were to make an appearance in the Prime Equestria, I'd like them to be an anti-hero equivalent of Dragon Ball Z's Ginyu Force as in not evil as the Ginyu Force but still an edgy source of comic relief. Finally there's Abacus Cinch, taking into account her threat in Friendship Games, I'm sure some people would like to see how threatening her counterpart in the Prime Equestria is. My idea for a Prime Equestria Abacus Cinch depicts her as a Draconequus like Discord also with reality warping magic, but with a more symmetrical appearance & a vastly different approach to using that reality warping magic. More like Dolores Umbridge from the Harry Potter series than Starlight Glimmer was, Cinch believes that legacy (specifically hers) should be valued above all else, including friendship, and is intent on enforcing her warped vision of order, using her reality warping magic mainly for physically fighting her enemies with the goal of permanently cementing her legacy as well as her vision of order. A stark contrast to Discord using his reality warping magic mainly to mess with his enemies & create chaos.

i would love to see the shadowbolts too but after rainbow dash chose loyalty over her dreams and left. the shadowbolts turned into the blue purple ish smoke thingy which is nightmare moon so maybe it was just nightmare moon is disguise

Discord. Yes he is reformed, but there could be an episode of movie that 5 villains ( 1 being a group) come back together and take over either the pony world or the human world. That would be interesting to watch.
