My brother died yesterday, about two months shy of his 36th birthday. His honor walk was simultaneously one of the most painful and beautiful things I've experienced, with well over a hundred people lining the halls to pay their respects. He'd been in and out of the hospital many times the past few months, so they knew him well. It sucks for everyone to have to say goodbye, but he'll be saving lives, and not for the first time. I'm gonna be honest, I was crying throughout this whole video. My mom had an honor walk the day she passed away. It will be 3 years in a few days (December 8th) since she passed away. I still remember wanting to break down and cry when she was wheeled past the operating room doors. I watched the doors slowly close behind her and it was the last time I saw her "alive". I remember we waited in her hospital room to hear if she was able to donate. I still remember my world around me shattering to pieces when the doctor informed us she passed away at 2:08pm. I'll never forget my mom. I'll never forget her smile. Her laugh. Everything. It still hurts so bad and I'm trying like hell to keep on living my life even when it sucks and I feel defeated. It's honestly sad knowing how much I took her for granted and I only realized that when she passed away.

Bull. Brain death is so hard to tell. There are people who were pronounced brain dead and they wanted to harvest organs, but the families fought to keep them on life support and then the person recovered. I would not want to be murdered to save someone else.
@peterfriesen48854 жыл бұрын
do you have any idea what this donor is going through? some doctors and nurses quit their jobs because they witnessed people shedding tears when they were cut open, some children turn grey, some have horrible grimace. they sweat, they clench there teeth. they are alive. they did not sign to be killed, they believed their dead organs would be taken after they die, really die. did you see them still on life support? dead people don't need life support. do your research. we are being deceived in so many ways. wake up people.
@danmilosevich4 жыл бұрын
@@peterfriesen4885 life support is needed to keep the organs viable. Organ harvesting is a full up surgical procedure including full anesthesia. All sterile procedures are followed. 3 doctors must certify brain death at 3 different times. The next of kin has the final say no matter if you are a donor or not.
