And the whole time he was talking the only thing I really wanted to hear was it running, lol. Nice bike, cool owner. You can tell he is passionate about his bike.

Sorry but he didn't have time. We only met him like 20 minutes before we shot the video and he could only spare a little of his time. The video was shot next to see see motorcycle in Portland Oregon. He stopped by their shop and agreed to let us shoot this short video without any notice. Really nice guy.

Mate that old Triumph is a work to be proud of. You obviously remember the times when we had to fabricate bits and pieces and rework one part to suit another just like you have done with the old pre unit TR6. There was no going on line or to a parts book for a lot of parts because not all suppliers could get everything you wanted.

For those of you keeping score at home: That's 2 motors & 3 transmissions. Yeah, I'm sure "it's a lot of fun" when it's running...

It needs a different front rim, tank, and paint job to look like a 60's drag bike. For starters, anyway...

jomo billy camshafts? is that what he said?
@fantasticflower5 жыл бұрын
He said it's a "JOMO billet camshaft." The JOMO #15 grind camshaft is Kenny Harmon's old profile, now replicated and manufactured by Megacycle. Great cam which can be tuned to deliver for strip and hot street.

@@fantasticflower JOMO is for Johnson Motors, the west coast Triumph distributor back in the day. Original NIB units can still be found if you're interested in having something like that.
