As someone who's stuck in Fresno, cant see why anyone would come here! LOL! But I know you went to see a friend. This area needs to be avoided at all costs to anyone stopping here. Just keep going... The heat and gangs/drugs/crime is horrendous, just a heads up. Some day I hope to get a Class C or a larger B and start boondocking before I get too old (46 now). Can't wait to leave this hell hole LOL!

First time viewer, I subscribed for two reasons. You have a Class A, so do we; you travel with your cat, so do we (and 2 dogs) oh, and it was a great video.

Hi Deb! I hope you don't regret it! Lol!

We have watched you on KZbin on TV for a long time but can't make comments. So we decided to subscribe because we now have an older class a. Also we have a question-- how did you mount your bikes mounted on the back?
@LifeWithPaulLorena5 жыл бұрын
Hi Susan, it's a pretty simple setup. We use a Reese TowPower dual receiver hitch we bought on Amazon....amzn.to/2TkOAIC....and we have the tow dolly on the bottom and the bike rack on the top. Works great!

We haven’t ventured out to boondocking just yet but we will definitely be doing some when we head out to the West Coast next year. We are on the East Coast this year. We would love any recommendations on places not to miss! 😊

Our videos show as many of those places as we can. For boondocking spots try free campsites,net

That's a Bambi hat for sure. Great trip for the summer time. Doesn't look too crowded. (TT) Thanks

The TT was not crowded overall...just down by the river.

Wow. Yosemite Lakes is so crowded compared to when we were there the first week of April. :-) Looking forward to the next video. Yosemite was THE highlight of our trip west over the winter. Except for our time with you guys at Quartzite, of course. :-)
@LifeWithPaulLorena5 жыл бұрын
We think it was made worse by the fact that you can't go into the upper area of the park yet because the road is closed. Still a great visit!

Yosemite is very pretty.... we used to camp off a bumpy dirt road called fish camp next to the river back in the late 80's I'm sure it's much different now

Thinking of using the coordinates for boondocking location in the Sequoia National Forest. We have a truck and 30ft travel trailer. Would the road be okay? We know to come from Kings Canyon side, thanks! Great video
@LifeWithPaulLorena5 жыл бұрын
You shouldn't have a problem at all Tammy! I would actually come in from the Sequoia side on Ten Mile Rd off 198.
@tammydowell5895 жыл бұрын
@@LifeWithPaulLorena I think our set up is too long. We would come up on the 180. They have a 22 foot restriction on that road. We have just started watching your channel and we really like so far!
@terrimccain96975 жыл бұрын
That is one of my bucket places but that campground place could give me a refund too close to the next trailer the forest boondock was great the fair ground camping very good glad too get some ideals when i go there ty guys
@LifeWithPaulLorena5 жыл бұрын
There are a lot of campgrounds that pack them in like sardines! That's why boondocking is so appealing.
@donnacook28255 жыл бұрын
I am traveling to the northwest and northeast the next couple of summers and am considering a Thousand Trails zone pass to those areas. It looks like there are a lot of campgrounds in those two expensive areas but I'm not sure if those passes would help defray the cost if they make you stay out of the system so many days of the month or if they are extremely hard to book. Have you ever done a video detailing what membership you have and how that whole system works? If not, would you consider putting one together?
@LifeWithPaulLorena5 жыл бұрын
We just have what's called a "Camping Zone Pass" with an added "Trails Collection." It's a 2 week in, 1 week out system. We suggest using the 1 week out to explore areas that don't have a TT campground. We should do a video on it. Thanks for the suggestion!

You must be careful in the Sequoia and Kings Canyon area. Cartels have marijuana grows and it can be dangerous. Just keep a good eye out. I live nearby
@LifeWithPaulLorena5 жыл бұрын
From what we read they haven't had any issues in a while. I think you would have to walk into the middle of a grow for it too be dangerous. They want to fly under the radar as much as possible.
@gbmarie8365 жыл бұрын
Well in our news they have told people to be careful in the rest areas in Sequoia Park as the cartels use them for drops and meet ups. Know someone personally who saw them there. I don’t think they care that much about being under the radar especially since Ca has lightened up on prosecution. It’s a shame what has happened in our recreational areas.
