For those who don't know, A113 refers to a classroom number at the California Institute of Arts. It was the classroom for first year graphic design and character animation, where many of the animators at Pixar and Disney, and several other studios, discovered and mastered their craft. If you look hard enough at mainly the background, you may see this "code" in every pixar and disney movie.

Considering Riley was only a teenager and had memories that expanded 30-50+ years, it would seem as if Pixar was showing us not the inside of Riley's mind, but all of us who have watched these since childhood and now we are adults, having children for ourselves who may be going through this kind of change in their lives. If that's the case, I'm really starting to feel old then, but this seems to be a great nod to a multitude of generations. Such great memories, thank you Pixar!
