Today, we're going for Street food tour of Mashhad, Iran! Iran has some of the best street food around the world, and today, Me and The Food Ranger is going in DEEP for INSANE Iranian foods that you NEED know.
Make sure to watch all the way until the end, because we're bringing you in for some UNIQUE street food that you NEED to try when you travel to Iran!
Mashhad is World FAMOUS for having some of the best food in the world and also some of the best street food around the world, and today, we going for Neyshabouri Halim with Gheimeh Stew on top, Ghormeh Khorasani, Dizi, Shishlik and Lamb Shank.
First up, we're going for Ghormeh, a local meat dish cooked in it's own FAT! And, it's served with persian bread and dizi. It was very delicious!
And then we're going for some Incredible Iranian Shashlik kababs at one of the BEST kabab restaurants in Mashhad! We tried these in Shayan Shandiz Restaurant.
We also went for super LOCAL for a famous Iranian BREAKFAST, the HALEEM! It's a THICK Iranian recipe made of wheat and beef and covered in a lamb and split peas stew(gheimeh), a little spicy and also sweet and cinnamon filled! One of the MOST UNIQUE Street Foods in IRAN!!! We're going in at 4am to see the chefs and how they make it.
After this, We went to see the BIGGEST Saffron Ice Cream factory in Mashhad! We watch as the Tollab ice cream is hand made! Incredible to watch! So SATISFYING!!!
