I'm really surprised I've never seen a guide about this before, this is one of the most useful things you ever learn in the game and I only learned it from mindlessly trying to replicate others' speedruns and eventually realizing what the hell I was actually doing. Great video, I hope to see you make more content delving deeper into meta strategy like this in the future. Maybe a part 2 on animation locks and special part breaks perhaps? One of the most common mechanics in the game I see experienced players not know about.

OhDough did a bunch of in depth breakdowns back in the day when (In my own opinion) the game was in a much more consumer friendly and enjoyable state than it is now.

An argument me and a friendgroup often make to other people that complain about certain things in pve games being to strong (dauntless, darktide, payday 2, left 4 dead) is always: balance in a pve game is secondary to fun you are having. Since even if its broken. The computer dosnt care about it, if you wanna make the computer lose, make it lose.

Great video to help people understand how to work towards the feats of the top end players. And I will gladly wait for the video about behemoth part breaks as a supplement to this one. Perhaps another video option later on would be tips and tricks for each weapon on a general case than towards things like the exotics and how they change the playstyle of that weapon type.

Any tips for part focus? I find that focusing on a part gets harder when thr behemoth gets up. God forbid I've broken the head and left side legs, going for the tail is always a pain.

im a tempest enthusiast since it works well for low mobility classes like repeaters for example, i dodge an attack and im able to instantly deal 3-4k damage on average and continue hitting it, its kinda like sticking to the behemoth idk how to explain it.

Hiii;I was wondering could you make a video about "mid game players"meaning people who are abile to craft anything but doesn't have everything reforge till 10. The video will mainly include builds I am 16 reforge on sword and 13 on axe but I have no reforges on repeaters and strikers,I have experience but not in the weapons I need to get it at least till 10 reforging for the slayer's path buff

What's the indicator that the part is about to break? There's so much visual clutter these days that am not sure I know what you were talking about. Is it when the first time a big scar appears on the part? I'll be frank I played for years and only saw this sudden scar here by looking at it frame by frame. My mind goes unga bunga each time I hit a behemoth and with all the lantern effects and whatnot I don't remember seeing it in-game.

I started dauntless 3 months ago and there weren’t much combat guides like speed runners are using in dauntless trials. I picked up strikers and i’m reforge 10 at the moment, but i don’t feel like high tier player. This never came to my mind because i played to progress as fast as possible and not skill wise.

The point is to start learning how to play with the meta playstyles. The frenzy tonic isn't necessary against the really low level behemoths, so the stagger tonic will help you get a feel for keeping things on the ground. Then you progress toward not needing the stagger tonic against these behemoths, where you then use the frenzy tonic

@@ra1see-_102 generally in dauntless every weapon can use the same build. Important exceptions to know are: -Berserker is bad on Axe -Adrenaline/Endurance is bad on Repeaters, and bad on Hammer (UNLESS you have high attack speed and prime) -Overpower is bad on Repeaters unless the Behemoth has a lot of interrupts of long part break animations -Savagery is bad if you're not using Chainblades/Warpike unless you have a teammate to wound, or you are using Acidic

Good Video, But I saw Meta and I gotta Say: SAY NO TO META FOREVER NO MATTER THE GAME!! XP. Meta isn't bessarily bad depending on the game but, why play Meta when you can be inventive or end up with a build you find super entertaining. Or dumb builds that make people cringe cuz it's silly.
