In the Muffs, Melanie was always more open and friendly, Ronnie and Criss too. But Kim was a little more guarded, in-person. We eventually became friends and then were together for a while. She is truly a sweetheart with a tough exterior, like Joanie Jett. Kim was a monster writer, and a fantastic friend. And sexy AF when she wanted to turn it on. RIP Kimba... we miss ya.

Nardwuar is clearly benign but he comes out trying to dominate the interview and catch Kim off-guard, as his usual M.O. but when Kim puts her arm around his neck around 2 minutes in, it’s Game Over...TKO. After that he’s putty in her hands! 😏 PS: Ron Asheton, Stooges original guitarist. (Or was it James Williamson that went to see The Pandoras?). The Pleasure Seekers first single, 1965 is arguably their best work and very influential to someone like Ms. Shattuck. Rest In Peace, Kim -You are already missed beyond measure💔Long live The Muffs!

Nard was a pro the whole time and Kim's attempts to throw him off by sexual innuendo and groping did nothing. No wonder she has so many songs about the one that got away or LOVE/HATE in her repertoire with the MUFFS. I've always wondered if she was a promiscuous flirtatious type to end up with entire albums full of anger towards ex lovers. Gotta love Nardwuar and gotta love Kim because the MUFFS rule!!!
