Actually...... Rumour has it that when Avatar (TLA) was coming out in 2009, same time with this Avatar, Avatar (TLA) had to change their titles because it mirrored this avatar too much. Especially in the sequence of water, earth, and fire

It's amazing to me how Cameron continues to build this story and world. Also keeping up with the tech required to make these movies is incredible. You can see how much more mature the graphics are getting and the attention to detail happening with the cgi. Everything he is doing gets translated into other films and changes the landscape for how movies are made. I wish would could get more Spellberg movies or other filmmakers who build rich sci-fi worlds like this happening. It's nice to see innovation in Hollywood. Instead of them remaking the same things over and over and over.

They better not kill her. If this should be progressive, then Ney Tiri should live and lead her family. Instead of yet another "man loses wife and makes a mess of the family to snap out of it eventually, when it is entirely or is almost too late". That said, it takes no family member deaths for things to be tragic. Disabilities can be very tragic if a family fails to process it. Or it can be as simple as love interests or differences in views, pulling the children to different sides. Deaths are simplistic tools. And the horrors of life can easily put death into perspective.

The visuals are what draw you in, the good storyline keeps you there however, the main weakness in both the first and second film were the obvious human bad Navi good. When real life is so much gray it's fantastic to see this visually just like Gollum and Smeagol in Lord of the Rings or Thorin in The Hobbit series. I honestly can't help but feel a little bad for the humans obviously if I were in their shoes(which all of us would be). So long as they keep writing good story lines that James Cameron is known for I'll definitely keep watching these movies. I love how it's just good storytelling and it doesn't need to reflect any deeper!

James Cameron is so serious about his craft! I watched the BTS of way of water and he wanted everything to be so realistic and Pandora is like his own personal planet that he wants made perfect. If Pandora was real i would love to be there myself and get my own Avatar 😊. The second wasnt as good as the first but i still enjoyed it knowing how much time and effort James Cameron put into making it plus the actors themselves. This third one is going to be epic!!!!!!!❤

Ooh, so instead of Man Bad it's Fire Bad. Not the most mature theme we've seen. Even the "other Avatar" intended for children had a more nuanced approach to the elements. "Fire is life, not just destruction." I love the appearance of this Fire Clan and their mounts. Zabrak-like Na'vi with white tiger mounts. Very cool. Curiously, I don't see the neural connection between them. I'm sure it's there, but what if it wasn't? What I would appreciate more, and hope to get but doubt it, is a clan that would reject the ancestor-worship and hivemind of Ewa. Or perhaps she rejected them and that's the source of their cultural anger and sorrow?

I would prefer Quoridge team up with rhe blue navi, to avoid humans being kick-assed by the stronger and really evil red ones. Who would rather destroy the planet than give it to humans. Jake Sally will understand this alliance, an his wife will not. This will cause some major drama like between John Snow and his GF. Damn, Jake's GF even has a bow... And the little Ripley Navi girl wlll do something really unexpected. Her body will die or transform in the process. Eiwa will be slowly dying or growing insane. This will be the revelation point for the "unknown tribe" and humans and navi together against the fate in the next two films. But the alliance will be fragile and break two steps before victory. Just like the one 3000 years ago. And this is where Spider comes in and saves everything, bringing peace also to the main characters family.

Not a lot of "coexist" signs from this series, which is weird for Hollywood.
