I understand what he is saying. I just took my shahada last Saturday and already remembered the first chapter in the Quran myself and wore the hijab since before I took my shahada. Welcome to Islam my sister. Fpr anything be it questions or anything else please don't hesitate to contact me. The beauty of Islam is that everything you do (as long as it's not a sin) can be worship if your niyah/intention is directed to worshiping Allah. For example if you eat food with the intention of getting nutrition so as to worship Allah you get rewarded. Or if you sleep with the intention of resting so as to re-energize for the sake of Allah then you are rewarded throughout your sleep. Even working so as to earn in a halal way is worship. All these things are worship so long as your intentions of doing them are to worship Allah or to obey Allah or follow the sunnah of the prophet SAW. But if for instance you eat to satisfy your hunger only. Then Allah rewards you based on what you intended in the beginning. So after satisfying your hunger then that is all it will be. Or if you work so as to earn and buy necessities only, then the reward doesn't go beyond getting the necessities. Thus our actions and every aspect of our life should align with our intentions. If our intentions are this world then we shouldn't expect more reward beyond this world. But if our intentions are for the hereafter then we are rewarded in this world and the hereafter. Most times we forget this. But if we make it a daily thing we will firstly be renewing our intentions (incase of any wrong intentions this will be enough a reminder that we are doing it for Allah). Secondly we won't be forgetting it as often. Subhannallah. May Allah guide us till our final moments on this earth and may we die muslims and upon tawheed. Ameen yaa Rabb.

Place I live now kicking me out for being a Muslim, took them cakes down to their office and they accused me of terrorism against them🤔 and one them told me not wear thoub or to pray she said just read quran and take moral lessons. Sometimes better not to speak and prove oneself a fool etc. She is of a particular ideology 🌈 On a positive note my first Ramadan went well and just come back from Saudi Arabia and Egypt and doing umrah was so beautiful there and nobody was judgmental

Subhanallah. I can't believe it subhanallah Allahuma barik the submission in one and half month to Allah the gaining of knowledge . It hurts how much i am lacking now but alhamdulillah that Allah has brought me onto this path and given me guidence. May Allah accept his umrah and grant us entrence to his house this time as a family with our baby too ameen. Im actually very emotional it hurts once you go on the path and then you're weakened somehow but the difference is clear alhamdulillah that i am seeking knowledge and submit to it once i know of it. May Allah forgive us all and strengthen our ummah and guide us all ameen. May Allah give us the right company of friends and guide our family and give us guidence to help our children's imaan and protect them from misguidence ameen.
