They're many factors. Toxic cultural practices, are seen as Islamic for those with Muslim parents. Which makes the non believing lifestyle, easier to accept. As well as Colonisation, has made ethnic people think the more religious you are the more "old fashioned", you're. The less and less you follow Islam, the more "modern" you appear in Muslim countries/ethnic Muslim communities.

Where did you get these percentage😂😂99% its not because you are ignorant that doesn't mean that everyone is ignorant.. i think that 2 or 3 of 10 are ignorant and i don't talk about the very young nor the very old people because you can only be well-informed when you reach the forties in your life that is when one is more stable more knowledgeable and understands things better than that when you are 25 years. So when people reach the forties in their lifes that is when they also willing to be more stable in their life because they have gained more experience and therefore have also absorbed knowledge in life and can organize themselves better. That's why our prophet (PBUH) didn't become a prophet until reached 40 that's when one really matures and can be called mature that's only on that age that the most man became mature and can place the things better... but in more cases we see that they've been blessed by Almighty and could be mature even in their very young ages due to their circumstances but they also die very earlier.

It amazes me the way people positively claim that god gave them morality when there isn't a single thread of evidence to support this narrative. In other words, you are putting the cart in front of the horse.

Why do people proclaim they are ex-muslim? Even transgeders dont say im an ex-male or ex-female. You'd proclaim your new belief and align with it. But just because they are ignorant of islam and have adopted secular ideas. It's as though they've freed themselves from shackles? Its lack of knowledge that makes it look like shackles. Knowledge is key to free yourself from assumptions and misperceptions.

If these people grow up with Islam and chose to leave it. Allah will bring other people and better people to spread and practice this religion. How many people accept Tawheed daily, I am sure if these people studied the Aqeedah of the Sunnah they would leave Islam.
