Beautiful and stirring composition of classic composer and kundiman music, Francisco Santiago. I used to listen to his Ave Maria composition in the churches in my young years and the classical singers in our family. Thank you! This music is part of my evening Rosary and prayers. 🇵🇭❤️

The " Mrs. H. H. A. Beach" whom the piece is dedicated to is actually the famed composer Amy Beach

I'm not of the same faith, so the lyrics do not really reach me. But what truly touches my heart is the melody of the violin. I play the violin as well and I love playing the violin part of this piece. It's very very very beautiful and the overall arrangement makes me teary-eyed. Everytime I listen to this, it gives me a bittersweet vibe, and it's heartachingly beautiful.

I want to thank you so much. A member of the church choir passed away and the family requested this song played. Although I've heard this song before about 40 years ago, there is no materials as a resource, especially a violin player will play with me. I got the notes through screen shot, put it all together and printed it. I have an instant music notation. Again, thank you very much, you helped me a lot. Art @ kzbin.info
