Oooooooh..... That pipe organ!!!!! 1894!!!!! Wow!!!!! As an amateur pipe organized I can say the oldest organ that I've ever been able to play was a 1936 and it wasn't in the best prepare at the time. That is an impressive church and organ and all those beautiful stained-glass windows!!!!! 🎶

Random thought #2 I was thinking about the traditional boatman’s cabin. I was thinking that it’s like the Industrial revolution’s version of a “tiny house”. Those families had decades or even generations to design and perfect the layout of that space to include everything that they needed. They had to be super clever and efficient because the rest of the boat was obviously given over to cargo. It’s very easy to imagine just a single man or woman living in just that cabin space, but 2 adults AND 2 or more children living in there is an entirely different prospect. It would be really interesting to see an original blueprint as well as observe the evolution over time of that cabin design and layout. The original tiny house 🙂 🙂🐿🌈❤️

Fun pony going across that lift bridge. 🙂 Yes, traveling in a group eases the work needed, and it means if something goes wrong, you've got people there to help. I love the country you cruise through, love the videos. Oh, you should have a USB port installed at the rear (so to speak) so you can plug in to 12V power and keep your nipples up to temp, yes? And cell phone and cameras. As a former boat owner (1939 twin screw Matthews 40-foot) and as a retired diesel/gas truck mechanic, I LOVE the sound of your engine. It's so sweet. This is very original, my old Dad spaketh it after he and Mum came back from a holiday in Wales (their last one) in 1979. They'd been to see over the amazingly ornate and richly decorated interior of Chirk Castle. Dad was so good at ditties and the like - afraid its not nautical tho' Dad was a yachtsman as was my grandfather, and my 3rd gt grandfather (1775 on) who was a narrowboat owner on the Erewash out of Long Eaton & Sawley). 'Ere tis - There once was a farmer from Chirk, Who pulled up his cart with a jerk, His load of manure Was most insecure And he was up to his eyes in his work. Boom boom!! Ha Ha!😆

Cruising with friends in a convoy has a lot of good things going on especially with those lift bridges sharing the chores. That was a real big badge order from the Chandlry ,its good to see them supporting Canal traders. Your weather is much like ours earlier this week my front lawn was almost snow free and this afternoon we had a couple of inches of snow in 30 mins but it wont last @c above just now goingto -6c overnight .Whitchurch looks a nice town ,love the old buildings and those gorgeous Church windows .J still doing fine Dr cut out the Paracetomol so she's not dozing off so much during the day now. You need to ditch the heels as they stick in the mud 😂😂 baths use too much water but depending on the size of your water tank I can shower every day and use my washing machine once a week and the water tank lasts me just over 2 weeks before I need to refill 😃🏴‍☠️

The Crinan canal in Scotland has been closed for lock maintenance and water drained out. Back open in April and in May the Waverley paddle steamer starts her sails again. All go on the waterways! Always look forward to your videos 😚
