Biden's White House staff hits record number with $225 million payroll

President Joe Biden has spent millions of taxpayer dollars to fund White House staffers since the 2021 fiscal year, according to federal records.
The watchdog group Open the Books discovered Biden spent $225 million on the White House payroll during his first four years.

Just to put this in perspective, I work in a small business that has 110 employees. Our annual payroll is around $9.5 million which is an average of around $86k per employee. We have annual sales of around $125 million. So Bidens White House, which sales nothing and does little has annual payroll expense of 24 businesses the size of the one that I serve as CFO for. We wonder why we have inflation and where our federal money goes, well great example right here. If my company makes a new profit of 10% that gives us $12 million a year at a federal rate of 21%, we throw in $2.5 million a year, it takes some 90 companies this size just to pay the federal tax that the WH staff costs the tax payer.
