I'll take henrique over Mcleod and Foegel any day as the guy is consistent and way better defensively, I think he will score some impact goals in the playoffs.

Paying valuable assets for rentals burns teams time and time again. If the Oilers make an impact deal, you need to build the roster for this window, not for a single season.

Goalie please. I defend Stu at every turn, and I think he's going to be a legit, top-10 goalie in the league by the time he's 28, but this and next post season are going to be the most crucial in the 97-29 window, and I just don't think we can risk Stu taking a step back in the playoffs with nothing but Pickard to bail him out. John Gibson is top-5 in the league in goals saved above expected, and he's 8th in the league in SV%, on a shit team.

I'd prefer a guy who could grow with him, like a Karel Vejmelka. Stu has some serious playoff experience at this point and has had to deal with the high highs and the low lows. Get someone who can compete and push him for future seasons, not a mentor.

@ as a mentor…he’s also got a pretty decent percentage on a very poor team…just look at what quick is doing after the kings let him go…Gibson still is a very decent goalie and if the ducks keep half his salary it would be worth it…skinner is just to inconsistent to go into the playoffs with …he’s actually worse this year then last year!

Maybe at least we should of kept him, might have and has matured as a player and might have been even better this years playoffs with more experience.

Frank,I agree with managing your dollars in making a winning team. I can't understand how a lot of fans just say we'll spend X dollars to get this guy. It's not there money. I agree for some of the people but not everybody gets 10 mil a yr.

Sure McLeod was fast....problem is that he didn't do anything with it. Avoided hits, didn't drive the net. What good is speed if you don't do anything? Same with Foegele to a lesser extent

Bouchard doesn't play hard enough and too many turn overs for 10 mill...lol...7.5 topps and I think Oil tried hard for Soucey already and didn't get him...Had a jersey withhis name on it ready to go..lol..So, that ship has sailed..lol

It's hard to stomach the fact that we could have retained Holloway and Foegle for less money than what is being paid to Jeff Skinner and arvidson. How many times has arvidsson fallen on his ass, or gotten rubbed off the puck. Sort of like the worst combination of Jesse Puljujarvi and Kyler Yamamoto. If I Could Turn Back Time with hindsight it would have been a no-brainer to keep Holloway and Foegle
