Went all the way to the top in the light rain finally reached the top the rain finally let up when we reached the top looking down at first couldn’t see Manchu picchu then all of a sudden the fog lifted and it all of a sudden appeared and what a view. Best trip ever.

Yes, that was our timelapse we made of the sunrise! We were 1st in line for the 6am slot to get a good spot. Unfortunately, there are no drones allowed, and they are pretty strict about the rules too. Thanks for watching Will!

Nah, I don't think it was altitude sickness...just got some kind of respiratory infection. She got some antibiotics in Aguas Calientes and started to feel better!

I think we did book a little in advance, but not too much (couple of days maybe?). I think you could totally do the trip in 3 days (I’ve heard of people doing it in 2). Hope this helps! Have a great trip!

2 things...1st...how did you defeat the tripod police to get a great time lapse like that? That was one of our most disappointing parts of the amazing Machu Picchu experience. 2nd..we stayed at the Belmond Palacio Nazarenas in Cusco and it was amazing!

Haha...yeah, we used a TINY 6" tripod...basically it sat on the ground. Then we just sat by it, kinda hiding it from the police 😂The Belmond Cusco looked so amazing...but we blew the budget staying at the Sanctuary Lodge. But I have the budget, I would definitely stay at both next time! Thanks for watching guys!

Yes, they will pick you up! We were staying down in Aguas Calientes the first night...but if you’re going straight to the Belmond, it’s way easier! They’ll meet you at the train and pretty much take care of everything!

Hi there! The altitude didn’t really bother us too much in Cusco or Machu Picchu, a little short of breath, but that was probably more about us being out of shape 😂. We did struggle in Bolivia with sleep and headaches in Bolivia, so we know altitude can affect us. Also, keep in mind we were based in Bogota Columbia during this time, which is at 8500’ so we were a little acclimated already. I hope that helps!

I think we were there around August. We did spend 2 nights there, and went into the park early the second time to catch the sunrise. I can't remember any handicapped people, but there were a number of paths we didn't take...I know there's a lot of stairs in the lower part though!
