A friend of mine was flying one of those RSAF F-15SG's. Noticed the CAG markings on one of the Growlers. Pretty cool.

At first I thought it was F-15Es because of the tail code, except that it has the missile approach warning sensors (MAWS) below the canopy. Only F-15 SA, SG, QA and EX have these. It was difficult to see the RSAF insignia, but these are based at Mountain Home.

@Jax's Aviation I was sleeping in Mather AFB base housing in Sacramento one weekend back in the late 80s. I was in the Buff squadron there at the time. Suddenly, my wife and I spring up out of bed. There’s this incredibly loud roar, cups are falling off shelves, windows are rattling, pictures are swinging, dust’s drifting down from the ceiling. My wife screams, “What the f*ck is that?” I had no idea. My first thought was that it was a tornado, or something, but I could see that it was a bright, sunny morning. Maybe it was an earthquake? Being a Boston boy, I’d never been in one. Come to find out later that day it was just a Bone beating up the pattern!
