You should collect every food that you can find, collect water in bathtub and other big containers, then cover them. Go to the basement and don't go out for minimum 3 days. 3 days after detonation radiation will be almost not harmful. If attack was an surprise, then lay on the floor. After the flash and shockwave collect food and water, then go to basement. If you are outside jump behind an concrete fence or into some kind of trench. After shockwave, go to the nearest house, and then to the basement. Never hide behind buildings. Cover yourself with something waterproof, like raincoat. And the most important, don't eat or drink anything that was not in hermetic container.
