Dust can move through a building pretty darn fast, one of the guys at work was making weights with concrete and the air purifier in the office detected the concrete dust in less then five minutes, through a closed door, a another room.

Great video thanks! Any idea how much replacement filters will cost?

$34.99 to $59.99 it seems: www.wyze.com/products/wyze-air-filter

I wonder how this compares to my Levoit 400s. I have a lot of Wyze products and might consider this for another room.

Looks like it had the same H13 filter rating but Wyze makes less noise by half (21 vs 24 db). Very similar in size. 👍

Great video. I have a question... I love using those Bath & Bodyworks wall plug-ins for that great Teakwood smell. But, will this Air Purifier work overtime to remove that scent in my house, therefore draining the smell good plugs?
@TheNetGuy2 жыл бұрын
Depending on the size of the particles yes. Wyze’s purifier has been amazing for my folks that live in the southwest with airborne dust and particles. They love it!

I bet it’s in the works. I wasn’t sure of them to begin with been there almost since the beginning. They are definitely getting better. I was about to jump ship but I’m glad with the way things are going. And after having to help my parents with their ring doorbell I definitely prefer Wyze software

If you are a smoker, why do you worry about getting an air filter machine? You are polluting your lugs purposely
@TheNetGuy2 жыл бұрын
I don’t technically smoke, but did for this video :) On the other hand, I know many smokers that use similar things to keep their habit from dirtying their homes and furnishings.

Wyze products aren't what they used to be. The cameras, a few years ago, were really good, dependable. Now... constantly disconnecting, reconnecting. I know... "It's your network!!!"... uh huh. Well, I have had a ring camera for over 5 years and it hasn't disconnected once... and it's placed right beside the Wyze Cam, which disconnects several times a day. It seems like Wyze is introducing a new product every month or so. Just putting their name on basic Chinese electronics exports. I'm sure you can find the same purifier under several different names. I'l pass on this and every other Wyze product.

Funny I have 15 WYZE devices in my home and aside from user error on the initial install of not WYZE thermostat (thanks for a forum member who messaged me on FB to explain what I did incorrectly and quickly remedied), aside from my error on the thermostat everything else works fantastic!! Do I have a hiccup here and there where I log into a camera and it takes a moment to load, sure, but nothing more than that! I either have the luck of an Irishman or we have a lot of users who are unrealistic when it comes to WYZE products! I would be the first to raise my hand if I had a REAL issue, I’ll say that again….if I had a REAL issue…. But I don’t! The products work incredibly well and I’ll keep buying them and trading my hard earned $$ for their products until they don’t. So off to purchase four WYZE Air Purifiers, one for my office, one for two bedrooms and one for the living room! Let’s face it, it’s fan that blows air through a filter, what could go wrong?!!!! Wait, maybe it will take 1.5 seconds to load up the associated app instead of .5 seconds, now that would be devastating!😳😂😂😂😂😇

@@TreadTalk247 Congratulations on your lack of issues with Wyze products. I have had a network engineer install a high-end router, change channel to an uncrowded one (2.4Mhz), added wifi extenders, etc. He suggests that Wyze cameras lack ample antennas to keep a connection. The reason the Ring camera has stayed connected for 5 years? Better antenna. All the best to you!
@TreadTalk2472 жыл бұрын
@@eml5086 I’m not saying others have not had issues, I personally have not had any. Could be that I have my cameras/devices close to the router and a higher end router too. I am considering installing an external antenna on a few outdoor cams to use w the solar panel (which I LOVE) to install in our community as we have had our community mailbox pods broken into lately. I know this will void the warranty, honestly voiding the warranty is the least of my worries as I can afford to purchase more cameras if I need to down the road should one fail due to water intrusion. Obviously I will try to maintain the water repellency as best I can when installing an external antenna (maybe two 😳🙃🙂😂😂😂). It would be neat and incredibly useful to create a password/network for our little 15 home community to use and all be able to log into should anyone have an issue and need to get a tag number or something like that! I might purchase a separate router just for this little community system and try out one of those ultra-distance capable Wi-Fi router antennas to get the cam(s) connected. Of course we’d need the community’s permission to set this up, get waivers signed, and get some signs made up to mount next to our “ neighborhood watch” warning signs! Maryland is a two party state however if we notify anyone driving into the community that they are being recorded and to exit immediately if they decide they don’t want to be recorded then we will be covered. Sorry to get off topic, just rambling on about my little project idea……
