When you're relocating your chicken coop and run, I'd not recommend allowing them up on your hill -- within a few months time, they WILL erode the hill, creating a huge mess when the rains come. Occasional fee-ranging is fine -- just not within the run. Nice choice on the kitchen countertop tile. CONGRATULATIONS on the final approval of your "big house plans"! Can't wait to see the progress! Tara and John, from experience I would not recommend a tile with grout in between….. the everyday working on your countertop at end will be difficult to keep it clean. We have changed now to granite.

I’m sure you have heard the Scotters are in the fire. They had to evacuate the fire was at top of there land they are safe been helping fighting the fire. Not enough firemen they said. Prayers added for them. I started watching them because of y’all all of you are like my family ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hi John and Tara. Bought tears to my eyes hearing your awesome news. I'm truly excited for you all as you start this new chapter in your lives. Someone has made a comment above re the chickens on the hill. I've had chickens for many years and I agree with them. They could possibly compromise that area if on there all the time, certainly something to think about. Maybe they could free range there sometimes as that might not have the same impact. John, the kitchen is coming together beautifully, and I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product. I have started my garden over so many times:) We put in fences for our 2 Australian Shepherds this year (life changing!) and mentally having the fence for the garden just really has helped me so much to mentally organize and not overwhelm myself too much:)

Congrats on the approval! Just watched your update on the fires. I hope it does not affect anything on your land but also hope you see the need to build a large buffer around your main site that is tree free so that there is less chance of fire jumping. We have lost whole communities in Canada and now for the rebuild a buffer hopefully will go in surrounding the communities so that another burn will cause damage but maybe save residences.

Such happy boys. When I was a young nursing student we were taught in human growth and development that play was the work of children. I don’t think anyone teaches that now, but watching your children on this channel is evidence that play is a good work for children.

Hi John You would need to move the electrical socket away from the new sink location. Seal the ends of the MDF around the sink with PVA glue before tiling. Make sure the sink fits with the timber fillets you glued at the edges. Stellar work you two!! Long time subscriber.

OMG CONGRATULATIONS FINALLY 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 So much going on , on the farm it’s wonderful we watched from the beginning with you both and the massive changes have been incredible and so much more to come. Moving the chicken coop and bigger will be so much better for them. You are right add a little up the hill for them will be heaven.
