John is probably the best guide I have seen on this show. He has outstanding communication abilities on top of his thorough knowledge of the fish and techniques. As an ex- guide myself, it was a pleasure to watch him work. He would make a great host for the New Flyfisher in other episodes.

Bill caught more Steelhead in one day than I have in my entire fishing career. Well done Bill!

Maybe you can explain the differences between swinging a wet fly and fishing a streamer

I'd love to do a float like that. Walkerton area is my old stomping grounds.

I like to get my hero shot, so I’m not taking jabs at that, but you went from “never lift the fish out of the water” to lifting the fish out of water awfully quick. 😂

when you mention sink tips do you mean poly leaders or an actual sink tip setup with switchable tips like Versitip?

Both will work equally well

I wish this video had less minutes showing catching the fish and more minutes focused on perfecting the presentation.
