have never thought about that question, but of course we are our brothers keeper, just as he is ours! He who asks this question is his brothers murderer, that alone is guidance enough. The cathedral is beautiful and well cared for, thank you for taking us with you 💜

There are few words that would adequately convey the feeling of spiritual enlightenment after your moving video tour… going to the top was like reaching up to the heavens. It is a testament to the strength and courage of those who came before us in their ability to build such a great cathedral. Thank you for sharing your experience with us!

Thanks so much for taking us along again. I was planning to ask more about the octagon tower and here is was! If I ever get to England, this cathedral is #1 on my list and I would go if only to see just this. No words to describe it really. I can only imagine being there.

What an amazing visual tour! You put it together in such a beautiful and meaningful way. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I've toured many of the great cathedrals in the UK and Europe, but I never experienced them in quite the complete way you have presented Ely. Your video has awakened memories and brought back the very feel of being in one of these sacred spaces.

OMG! This is spectacular! Words cannot describe. And to think of the time period(s) it was built in, the craftsmanship is unbelievable. But this was the way people of that time worshipped God. They put their hearts and souls and very lives into building the house of God. And they achieved it. Thank you for sharing this beautiful piece of architecture and humanity.😊

Thanks for sharing. Just think of all the work and talent that went into building this. Without modern tools no less. People think I'm weird because I like old churches because of the architecture and craftsmanship and graveyards because of the history.

I had no idea Ely Cathedral was so huge, and so beautiful! Thank you for taking us round, though I have to say that although clever, I didn't much care for the sculptures which seem creepy and are out of place in a cathedral. There is one outside Woking Station, clearly done by the same artist, of a man totally lifelike at about 6 ft tall, and disturbingly like an artist I used to know many years ago! 😆

Thank you Tim. No blueprint! According to Google, 365 men died during the construction of that magnificent building. Thankfully, Henry VIII didn't destroy the Cathedral as he did many others. Kudos for climbing those steps.
