I have been giving topical lessons on Wednesday nights, but as I watch your sermons I see the value in expository lessons. Something that’s been growing on my heart is the need to keep Scripture in context and true to its original intent. I have been in ministry for a little over a year as an associate pastor (so I’m new to this) taking online seminary classes (bc I’m 37 married with young children) and watching a handful of other pastors. All that to say thank you for sharing for not only those in your congregation, but for others like me who take in how to handle the Word of God properly and the importance of it.

Jared, there is no greater way to plumb the depths of God’s Word and carry out a faithful ministry to the Lord for His glory and the good of His people than to commit to faithful, careful, and consistent biblical exposition.
