I’m so glad Noah is doing better. Also, don’t ever apologize for taking care of your mental health. I have been there. My middle son spent birth thru 4.5 months in the hospital waiting for a heart transplant. We have spent many days in nights in the hospital. You do have to get out and away to take care of yourself or your cannot be the support and help for you child if you don’t. You are doing awesome momma.

The framed flowers were done with embroidery stitches. Embroidery has a variety of stitches. Needlepoint is the same stitch, diagonally (like the forward slash "/"), & cross stitch is "x's." Hope that helps

Part of taking care of your son is taking care of yourself. If momma is stressed then you add to his stress. My refuge when my husband was in the hospital was the bookstore was around the corner. It was my place to decompress. Hang in there. Continued prayers for him and you!

Prayer and thoughts for Noah and you. My brother had a ruptured appendix this time last year. They gave him antibiotic for 3 days in hospital I believe and and then sent him home with a list of do and do nots. About 3 months later they finally operated on him and removed his appendix. Our family was thinking the same thing as you are, “what do you mean your not removing it?” But we had to have faith and it worked out and he’s as good as new, minus one appendix.

The first 'needlepoint' is actually embroidery. Needlepoint is on a canvas and embroidery is on a woven cloth. Cross stitch is a special counted weave fabric.
