The chair you saw was a papasan chair. They sell for about $150 at World Market & the cushions about $99. I used to have one in my very first apartment 40 years ago, so that tells you how long they’ve been around:)

Danni, the silver tone wine bottle holder can be used to hold the small oxygen containers. My mom was on oxygen and hated the canisters just laying around.

Hawaii Kai was a restaurant in Manhattan. It was very kitch -- every table was it's own hut. I went there as a kid. I think it closed in the 90's.

Plate with blue peacocks - Asahi Japan. I love all the information you share, Danni! We could pick up information on what we could thrift, but also keywords that we could use to list those items. Example - you bought the wicker coasters, and the holder and mentioned nice for a tiki bar. I never would’ve thought of using tiki as a keyword for that! Excellent!

That chair is a papa San chair, I used to see them at Pier One. Those footstools are adorable. I have a metallic blue balloon doggy, but he’s not pooping😅 Man I’d be in serious trouble at this Goodwill, so much that I’d love. That glass piece that you left behind (krosznos, I think you said), I had that exact piece come through my store today ( sorting in a thrift store in Ontario Canada) and it had its 12.99 Marshall’s tag still on and it was handmade Polish glass according to the sticker. Edit to add, so,e of the mass produced is still pretty and for non experience people it’s probably hard to tell if there is no ID on it. But Marshall’s etc also have “Murano” labels on their glass and seems like info is sketchy on what’s up with that.

Danni, perhaps the fruit is a persimmon. Are you sure that piece is a chamber pot and not a soup tureen with a missing lid? I wouldn't use it without knowing for sure, of course. The Egyptian piece is an ankh, which symbolizes the key to everlasting life. I've been wearing Transitions for years and love them. I can see your eyes through the lenses, so no need to worry. 💖🌹💍💎

You scored really well on this shopping trip. The prices were fair. I noticed you passed on certain items that were over priced, which is becoming common for Goodwill and even independent thrift stores. I have been very discouraged of late. I recently went to church rummage sale and the prices were marked quite high on many items.
