I was very close to my grandma and took care of her for years. I know there may be some stressful times but it's so awesome that teddy and your grandma will be making so many memories and have a special bond like you do with her. I'm sure it's nice just to have another adult to spend time with especially since Brandon works a lot. Grandma's are so special I miss mine so much. ❤❤

The sweet yellow onions, you can dig them out and put them in the basement, or you can leave them in the ground, but cover them with a pile of dead leaves to give them some winter protection.

I live in the Midwest and our summers are scorching hot pretty much June through September. Misery. We typically don't get any rain, or very little, in the summer. Spring is when we get it. This year, our spring was very dry but our summer was wet! I never remember a summer where we got this much rain. Absolutely crazy but I'm not complaining. My hubs and i were in Maine in June and we had one nice day. I am friends with a local and he said it's been a pretty miserable summer. Lots of clouds and rain. We are moving to Maine in a month and am dreading the move but so excited to be in Maine. Your state is so beautiful!

My cucumbers didn't do well this year either, I had 3 varieties, way to much rain this year in Maine for them. I should have put plastic over them this spring to help keep the soil a little more dry until they got going. Peppers were not doing well until the last week of Aug - first week of Sept. Now im getting a ton of peppers. Thank you for sharing! Fun to watch other locals on KZbin, stay safe from Lee winds this weekend.

Has Teddy ever spent the night away from yall? It flooded in my town awhile back and it's never flooded here. A lot of houses and businesses were flooded in town but we were safe. We got 12 inches in just a few hours. The part of Mississippi I live in can handle major rain and not flooded the soil is great. Growing up in Arizona we had flash floods a lot, the ground can't soak up the rain.

He had not! We just returned home and he did amazing with my mom! We missed him terribly haha, we don't plan to leave him again any time soon but I feel better now knowing that if we need someone to take him overnight, he'll do just fine.
