Great work. Small nerdy note on the term 'Achilles Heel' and why this part of the body is called the Achilles. Achilles is a character in Greek Mythology. To cut a long myth short Achilles mother was told he would die young when he was born. To prevent this from happening she dunked him in the River Styx which was supposed to offer protection from harm. However when the dunking was taking place Achilles was held by his ankle-leaving it the only place on his body not afforded protection by this mystic river. Achilles grew into a fearsome warrior but met his end when he was shot by a poisoned arrow in, you guessed it, the heel and died.

I grew up loving so many of these guys and battling an auto-immune disorder and I skated to the store tonight 2nd day in a row and owe it to what you guys are doing. Been in a funk because of nerve pain and trying to hold onto the ability to actually skate.. Tonight I fought through the pain to skate after binge watching these eps. A million Cheers!

Rad! You have my sympathies. I'm only 22, but I've been dealing with a chronic illness involving nerve damage for the last year and a half, myself. That as well as a long-term knee problem have kept me from skating, but last week I had a little session for the first time in forever. Podcasts, including this one, have definitely kept me going through the tough times. Cheers to you! Hope your situation improves.

The Achilles thing is from Homer's Illiad, the book before the Odyssey. Achilles was a Greek warrior whose mother dipped him in some river and the waters made him invulnerable to damage except that she had to grip him by the heel when she dunked him so he wouldn't float off so only that tendon there wasn't exposed to the waters and was able to be damaged. He's the guy Brad Pitt played in Troy.

Though Louie has a had a bunch of epic parts throughout the years. I always think back to this miniramp line he does in this random Krux Video "Blown Out". Tilt mode section. He murders this mini. He's so right about social media. When you think about it, it's such a waste of time and it'll suck you in and you spend way too much time on it. I've been addicted to Facebook for years up until recently I've just gotten sick of it and the only reason I have Instagram is to watch skateboarding. I don't use Snapchat because I don't have any friends so it's pointless. Yes, the only "friends" in my pathetic life have been fb friends the past three years...and I'm sick of it. I use to use fb on and off all day everyday. I haven't been on it in 3 days and that's the longest I haven't logged on there in years. Sad, I know...but I'm in the process of changing all that. I don't want to die tomorrow having spent most of the last few years of my life on fb instead of actually living life. And yes I still skate btw but I'm a guy in his 30s so it's not like I have a ton of skate friends around my age still. blah blah I'll shut up now. I'm done proving I'm a loser. lol
