Es koston 1 with air bubble are the best skate shoes ever made. I had white kostons with gum sole and without bubble first... Bubble came later on same model and also shoe was diffrent material

I got bless to skate with Tom Penny in Cannes France and I saw this shoes for the first time on him at that time, the white and gum color one and I got so stock on it and got a pair the next day. Little story on that day Tom was skating with a roll ankle is left foot was so blue that he was skating all day switch and practicing is switch3flip and day. Awesome memories

By far my favorite shoe of all time. Hilarious... First real skate shoe I ever bought too, from my first CCS catalog loaded with sharpie marks. Light Gray/white, blue with bright yellow. So sick wish I had them now. Time for a reboot. I’m sure this is a super common favorite of most skaters who started at that time. 38 in the house

I use to put the brown gum shoe laces in the navy and white. Loved those shoes. But the original gum color series blew my mind. The suede was softer and grippier, but ripped faster. Loved the softer suede.

at my local skateshop it was a row of es kostons1, emerica renolds1, circa Appleyard 1s, D3s, and the DC dyrdrek diamond. there were others but I think those I listed were over flooded, I remember alot of the dipped erik elingtons and the square toe kirtcharts as well, o ya who can forget the etnies 23, and accels. those were all hot shoes around the late 90s early 2000s.

In the 90s we were scoring Adidas shelltoes for 12 bucks at Big 5......Pumas were harder to find and more expensive but we found a gang of them also in awesome color ways........skateboarding is the best.

Hits so different now that they’ve actually rereleased them. Having both colorways is still surreal. Along with the “Fulfill The Dream” LE glow in the dark deck and the blue rising sun. I got guilty on vhs but it was misdilivered by the sender on Etsy. I’ll take what I got though. Dream fulfilled.

had the non-airbag Koston 1 white with gum bottom in 1997. a local skateshop owner help me to order them from California Skate Express (CSE). He was looking at the catalog wanting to order some skate videos and i came into the shop. i saw it had the Koston 1 in it,and he said i can order a pair for you.i was like hell yeah.in those days, living in a tiny town off the island of Borneo ordering stuffs from US was difficult to do for a kid. in 2006/2007 there were quite a few pairs of knock-off or maybe factory reject of the Koston 1s in a local shoe shop that sells mostly bootleg stuffs. they look exactly the same and i bought 2 pairs.

éS Koston 1 and Muska 1 need to be repro. It's the all time best skate shoes ever. Muska can jump into éS right now because he's not on Supra anymore. Put someone else name on it or just leave it blank for the names or just rename the shoes because people exactly know what it is.
