I find watching a skate part is sometimes somewhat overwhelming with the overload of tricks and its easy to miss or I guess appreciate fully certain clips. Having you guys rewatch and break certain things down really helps getting the full picture of each clips difficulty and creativity. Sometimes you may miss the run up, landing, foot placement etc and you guys highlight it.

Some finns went with the vikings as kinda like minority mercenaries. Especially when they went east to Volga through finnish lands, I think they drafted some landless hotheads with em.

13:00 Rog is right about the Besos area! This spot is very close to the waves with the bar at the end. The two benches kelly is talking about are in "the same hood" but are further from the 360flip fakie spot. And yeah, they are next to a church; a lot of tricks went down on those ledges that the stone wore out so bad we had to turn the stone around so we had "a new ledge"!
@stobe1874 жыл бұрын
it's amazing that finland produces such good skateboarders considering that the spots here are often super ghetto: "yeah the landing is a bit of natural rock with some moss on it"

I think varial flip or varial heelflip just implies that the kick or heel is doing the varial instead of a grab. Not sure why it started being called that because the term shuv it was already a thing but it definitely predates the Tony Hawk games. My guess is vert skaters working at mags writing the captions, seeing the board shuv it and associating it with varials. I love skateboarding and I have to much time on my hands haha
