I loved these as a kid, but they also disappointed me. I wanted game-breaking cheats back then (like infinite health) and all I could do was top off my lives and change a filter over Spyro's textures.

The only codes I really determine as a cheat is the big headed one and the 99 lives. 99 lives for obvious reasons and the big headed one because his flame power has more distance

I'm not sure if you are aware of this but did you know you can start a new game on spyro 2 with the super flame power up? It really breaks the game but is also very fun to try sometime!

The level warp and cutscene codes only work after you 100% the game. Kinda sucks, but it makes sense.

The cheat code for the credits is like when AVGN created the “Beat-a-game button” in one of his episodes to immediately beat any hard game with the press of a button. Yeah you probably won’t get this unless you watch Angry Video Game Nerd

Maybe it's only in some PAL copies idk EDIT: I just googled it and the Spyro Wikia tells me that it was actually the NTSC version that omitted it. He must have gotten mixed up or something.

Sadly the max lives cheat doesn't affect Spyro 2 plus I prefer Spyro in his default color(purple 🟣💜) not flat and normal head 🗣️

sorry to correct you the cutscene that you said doesn't show up in the pal version normally actually it does in the pal platinum version the version i own as i saw it the last time i played the game

actually that was called paper or flat spyro mode. and all games had to have a big head mode.

Theres another cheat code and its a dialouge select. as far as i know its the only way to acsess the zoe hack speech without code tampering

Not just that, but there are some fan games being made that I think Activision (or whatever it's called) should acknowledge as actual Spyro games so that the developers can actually make money from them (especially Spring Savannah and Myths Awaken, and if you see videos for them, you'll kinda see what I mean, as they look like they could've been part of the original Spyro series).
