I haven't even finished it yet but that opening was ABSOLUTELY INSANE! AND IT JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER! EDIT: This is actually just incredible. It at once feels absolutely authentic to the feel of Mother 3, while also being so absurdly powerful and hype it could work as a battle theme for a DMC/Bayonetta/FF7R style action game or a Musou!

@@mammothplant I'd say it's about on the level of some of the tamer, non-vocal tracks in DMC3. Obviously it's no Bury The Light or Devil Trigger, but I could picture it. Bayo might be pushing it though, I'd agree, mostly put it there because it felt wrong to list FF7R there and not Bayo.

I love that touch of Radio interference with the less intimidating parts of the song. It would have been pretty cool if Mother 3 actually Did something more like this in the game where it starts out as the Wasteful Anthem (Which i believe is the unaltered Version of the Song) but after you use Kumatora's PK Thunder on the Steel Mechorilla's Antennae and short circuit them the Music shifts into the Smashing Song Praise.

If you want to get into it, start with Earthbound, then play Mother 3. Do NOT start with Mother 3, because its QoL adjustments and improved combat system will make it hard to come back to prior games in the series. Basically what I'm saying is save the best for last. If you're hooked by the time you finish Mother 3, then *maybe* consider playing the first game. Its gameplay is outdated and tedious but if you're already a hardcore fan by that point, you'll enjoy the story.
